I like that this came as a "set", but it was just the individual boxes wrapped together with plastic cling wrap (not really a "set"). I went ahead and removed the cling wrap for gifting. I really like the product - it's my 4th purchase of Avanchy bamboo dishes, and they are very high quality and look good. Having to hand wash is the only down side, but we don't mind.
