Doesn’t work at getting rid of residue

I bought this in hopes it would get rid of the yellowing from the hard water that stains the shower. I used as instructed and left on the surfaces for several mins to allow it to work. Rinsed it off, and it still had the same hard water yellow residue. As an overall cleaner it works, and smells nice, but doesn’t get rid of the substance stains on the shower.
