Decent wax for candles

This product melted well; we used it for jar candles only so I can’t speak to how it would perform with dipped candles. It’s a fairly small package, so it would require quite a few bags if you wanted to make a bunch of candles. It was easy to work with and poured well. We added fragrances and colors with no issue and they have been burning consistently. If the bag was larger for the price, I would buy again.

Good kit, dangerous burner.

Good candle making kit. Used it for Christmas gifts and they turned out good. Just note that the candle warming pad can get VERY hot. Much hotter than is necessary for melting candle wax and keep it as a free-flowing liquid for pouring. I wouldn’t recommend going past 2 on the dial, 5 was extremely hot.

I made two cute little candles. The only note is - if you're going to color the wax, it's base opaque and white, so it will take quite a lot of dye to color it.It burns really nicely.

Follow instructions and it works well

This wax is a decent wax for candle making in my opinion.Follow the manufacturer's recommended instructions and be mindful of your ratios if adding colors and fragrances, plus curing times and you'll have candles and wax melts that turn out wonderful.I would buy this product again no issue. I can recommend these soy wax flakes.

Melts great and makes a really nice candle!

I'm reviewing "Herbs Botanica Soy Wax Flakes for Candle Making Natural Soy Wax Chips Candle Making Wax Supplies Cup Wax, Scented Candles, DIY Wax Eco Friendly Premium Quality, Clean-Burning Formula 8 oz" which I received via the VINE program.I am a total novice when it comes to making candles. I had a couple of other candles that I salvaged the last of the wax in them, as well as some jars and I thought I would get this to try to make a whole candle.I followed the instructions on the box to determine how much of the wax flakes to use and to fill up two Glade 3 wick jars, it used the entire 8 oz package. The flakes melted in my container nicely with the remnants of the other wax I had salvaged. It was very easy to do. The only 'fault' was my own. I added some essential oil but didn't add enough to smell the scent once the wax hardened.I will definitely be buying more to make additional candles going forward and I'll make sure to add enough scent next time.
