These placemats are so cute and they are created using recycled denim and other clothing!The pockets that hold the flatware may not be for a fancy table, but it is great for the everyday-family table.
I have other placemats but what sets these apart is that they are recycled. It made me think how easy this would be to do if I only thought about it. Older curtains would be great for something like this too and I'm sure all sorts of things would work.The stitching is top notch and I like the extra pocket to put the silverware in.
These 4 placements are well made and durable. The picture looks gray but they are like a light blue Denham. The pockets that hold the silverware are a unique touch. They came in wrinkled with deep creases. Hopefully a wash and dry will correct that. Price is fair T just over $6 per mat.
These are well-made, good looking placemats with a fun little pocket on the side for silverware. They are nice and thick, very durable, and I love the sustainability aspect of these. They are made from upcycled materials. The quality is excellent, no stray threads or issues like that. The only issue I have with them is that they are a bit labor intensive to clean. I ran them through the washer and they came out needing a lot of work to get them presentable again. I air dried them because I am confident they would shrink in the dryer. They had a ton of wrinkles so I ironed them, but it took forever to get the edges to flatten out.
