Life saver at the hospital

These were so helpful for collecting colostrum those last couple weeks of pregnancy! I just kept the tip on, hand expressed and sucked up the droplets as they came- easy. The 5ml was good for bringing a few vials for the hospital, after a very long and stressful labor the pressure of giving breast milk and learning to latch was a lot. Having these to feed him made it easy and took a load off my brain that first night in the hospital

A clever design!

I quite like this product. The container is squishy and malleable, making it easily capable of holding a lot. The wide rim makes it somewhat more difficult to collect colostrum, but that's really not a big deal to me— still very functional. I like that there's a bottle nipple already built in to the container, so all you have to do is offer it to the baby without transferring to another bottle, and therefore avoid risking spilling any precious colostrum... and the snug cap keeps everything fresh for a longer period of time. I also like that the order comes with a plastic case to store the bottles in (you should store in the fridge or freezer to keep the colostrum safe for baby). Kind of a full-package deal! I approve.

Great lil colostrum thingymadoodle!

Take a nice warm shower to relax a little and put on relaxing music or a good zone-out show (I did Love is Blind lol). Then start working it! I looked up techniques on YouTube and ended up with quite a bit altogether.These were so easy to express into, you can use the little sucker nipple to scoop up droplets of colostrum, but I ended up taking the top off which pops off easily. Then it's like a vial that is a LOT easier to scoop colostrum with.This ended up really coming in handy - we froze it, and since our baby girl's blood sugar levels weren't really stabilizing, my husband ran home and grabbed our stash. It was so easy to get this warmed up and deposit the liquids so baby could suck on the little dropper. Her blood sugars came back to normal so quickly after this. I had gestational diabetes, and started expressing colostrum manually about a week prior to my induction date.Ended up washing and sanitizing the half of the box I used and gave it all to my sister in law for her pregnancy! She was stoked. A gift that keeps giving lol!
