Why aren’t more people buying these?!

We LOVE these bags. We buy mostly home compostable bags/items. You have to read between the lines bc a lot of companies will tell you they are compostable. They don’t mention that it is compostable in some non-existent facility. These are truly home compostable. We have frozen soups and thing in these bags as well. They seal great, no problem. Great price too.

Great idea but smaller than traditional snack zip-lock bags

I love the idea of compostable bags but am disappointed that the size is smaller than traditional snack bags so I have to use more of them than before. Not sure this really saves the environment when there are more to break down. Will keep an open mind for other sizes.

OK, but weird

In a fit of ecological fervor I ordered these compostable freezer bags- supposedly reusable. They are thick and seal well, but expensive, like everything virtuously ecological seems to be. Since they’re cornstarch-based “plastic,” I don’t know how long they willactually last. The package has something like an expiration date-as if they’ll start to break down in 6 months, whether they’re used or not.If they do that, they’re useless to me, since I don’t use a lot of bags and reuse the plastic bags I do have multiple times. So the jury’s out.
