These fit between my teeth better than regular Stim-U-Dents, so they clean better. They are no less strong than regular Stim-U-Dents, which I'm very pleased about. They do break occasionally. I'm glad these will decompose after I throw them away. I see mostly plastic versions in stores and only rarely find regular Stim-U-Dents in a store, and never these thin ones. UPDATE: I’ve been using these for about a year now and they consistently perform really well. At my last dental appointment, the hygienist didn’t find as much plaque on my teeth as when I used to use dental floss only.

Great for removing food between teeth

I love this picks. I've been using these ever since my dental hygienist gave a sample to me about six or seven years ago. I like the thin ones as they work better for me. Since I've been using these (I use them multiple times a day) I have spent less time in the hygienist's chair and have not had any major plaque buildup, no cavities and my gums are always a nice, healthy pick (I also brush my teeth twice a day with an electric toothbrush).
