I purchased a microneedling pen and wanted to a high-quality hyaluronic acid to apply to my skin prior to the needling procedure for dual reasons; first, because it aids in the device gliding more easily across skin, and second, because a high quality hyaluronic acid will actually benefit the skin when used during the procedure. You have to be very careful what you put on your skin at this time since it more readily absorbs any item and you don't want an allergic or inflamed reaction. It was important to me that the hyaluronic acid that I use be pure and uncontaminated with any ingredients that might irritate my skin since you need to be very careful with any products that you put on your skin either during or after the procedure. I have done the microneedling about four times already and I've put VoilaVe Hyaluronic Acid Serum on my skin prior to every procedure. I've just started using this several days ago. I have very dry and sensitive skin and was looking for a product to help bring some moisture and relief to my skin. I thought this was going to be a moisturizer, but, I've been using a moisturizer with it as well as the Triple Action Vitamin C Serum + Hyaluronic Acid for Face - Contains Three Forms of Vitamin C for Superior Results - Pure & No Fillers - Neutralizes Free Radicals - Finest Serum Available - 1 oz and the Total Youth Under Eye Gel - Best Eye Cream for Dark Circles, Puffiness, and Wrinkles - Effective Treatment for Crows Feet, Fine Lines, and Eye Bags - With Hyaluronic Acid and Cucumber - 1.7 fl. oz.. My first thought was that it was a little sticky. It comes with an eyedropper for the serum, but it's really thick. On my face (over the Vitamin C and Eye Cream) it wasn't that bad. I was terrified of making my skin drier, so I'm using a tiny bit on my face. It seems to be helping some. It's not an overnight miracle, but I think it could actually help. It's also not irritating my skin at all! I'm going to continue to use it morning and evening and watch the progress.
