It is generally recognized as safe, with low concerns regarding carcinogenicity, allergies, and reproductive toxicity. However, there are high use restrictions, and it raises environmental concerns regarding persistence and bioaccumulation. Regulatory bodies indicate caution in usage due to potential environmental impacts. Overall, while it has beneficial properties, the ingredient carries a high risk level due to its restrictions and environmental implications.

Ascorbyl Palmitate (Vitamin C Palmitate)

Intense and amazing

I was looking up what works for scar fading in skin care on dermatology sites and there's about 10 ingredients that are potent. This one contains most of them. I got this to try it not expecting much and it faded all the pigment from dark red acne scars, without creating depigmentation. It has also been helpful on a deeper scar, it's now light pink instead of a dark red-purple. 100% as long as this is made I will use it for scar fading.

Good price point, nice absorption, decent consistency

Absorbs well which is welcome as I had previously used a single ingredient Azelaic Acid formula that didn’t feel as nice. I like that this has other ingredients as well even though I am not sure I fully need them as I have less “dark” spots, but I do have older acne scars so figured I would give these other ingredients a try. (Arbutin, Kojic Acid mostly as other ingredients in this I’ve used or do use). I think I’m noticing some brightening and improved evening of tone after only a short time. Neutral to no odor. Good consistency- not too thin or thick overall and no grittiness or pilling. I do give it about a minute before using next products in my routine but that is enough time for absorption/no longer tacky feeling. The bottle lasted about a month using up to 2x a day but at least 1x and about 2 drops. I will keep using. Good price point.

NAELI Corrector Serum: Brightening & Dark Spot Face Serum

The media could not be loaded.

Hey guys! So there are a couple things I wanted to highlight about this product that contributed to me giving this a 5 star rating. One thing for sure is that I am a TOUGH critic, but I think it’s important to be honest….Am I right?*DISCLAIMER* - First and foremost, I want to state that I have very sensitive skin and deal with some hyperpigmentation from prior breakouts which led to me trying this product out in the first place.1. Size/Quantity: When I first received this product, I didn’t expect the bottle to be so small! I was a little worried (to be honest) but I will say that when I finally got into it, I realized that a little goes a long way with this one - which is a positive in my book. And honestly, I’m someone who doesn’t mind less of a more potent-effective blend than a huge amount of a product that feels watered-down and doesn’t make a difference. So in my book, the quality of this product made up for the size.2. Quality/Consistency: As for the blend, this bottle packs a punch - but in the best way possible! As soon as you open it, you’ll understand exactly what I mean, because I immediately caught smooth and subtle undertones of what I felt like were reminiscent of citrus, oat & honey vibes. And I was definitely here for all of that energy. I also want to point out that the consistency isn’t thick and creamy, but more-so has like a very thin honey-feel to it. I personally think it spreads well and dries on my skin relatively quickly, so keep that in mind when applying! I would also recommend stirring the blend in the bottle with the dropper that is included (which I absolutely appreciated) so that you get an even coat of everything inside.3. Effectiveness: When it boils down to effectiveness, I highly recommend that anyone trying this out for the first time, stick to one application per day to test how your skin handles the product. I’ve begun using this product only at night and have noticed an immediate brightening of my skin overall. I’ve noticed a new even-glow in my skin (my face in particular) and I have also noticed that my scarring has seemed to lighten up alongside it which has been exactly what I’ve been looking for in a product. Again - I do have sensitive skin, so I try to be relatively cautious with application, but everyone’s skin is different so I encourage you to apply in the way that works best for you! (remember this blend does pack a punch, so there’s nothing wrong with testing out your tolerance and going for the 2x daily application!)4. Customer Service: I usually don’t comment on customer service too much or even consider it when reviewing a product, but I honestly felt like I HAD to add this in here… The interaction I had with a customer service rep for this product may have been one of the best, most unique and human experiences I’ve had with a company in a long time (lol). I appreciated how their communication style felt familiar, welcoming , and supportive. If anyone reading this appreciates genuine communication and real customer service, NAELI is the brand you should be supporting. 10/105. What could have been better? My only real criticism is that I use products like the Corrector and the Night moisturizer for full-body application, so I typically run through products like these a little faster than usual. With that being said, I would like to see more options in the catalogue for larger quantities. I know that my use-case is a little atypical, but out of all the things I’ve considered, I couldn’t really think of anything that I didn’t enjoy about this corrector. Additionally, for anyone using this just for their face, it may very well last you a month or even more, which is great for the price. Overall I HIGHLY recommend giving this one a shot and for those reasons, I decided that it deserved a 5/5 rating.

Excellent customer service and product

I got a bottle about a month ago, and I loved the scent. It kind of reminded me of John Masters blood orange vanilla lotion. It was great at helping to control oil, but I noticed that if I didn't rub it in well when I used it in the morning, I would get brown spots.I ordered a second bottle, and then noticed the color was much less yellow and the scent was completely different - it wasn't as pleasant and actually smelled a little rancid. The company's customer service was excellent, though, and quickly reached out to me and sent me another bottle. I tried it and it was on par with the first bottle.I'm thrilled with this product so far - it helps balance out my oily skin and improves my skin texture. I'm a happy customer and would happily recommend this product and company!
