I rotate through hair products pretty regularly; I am always trying to find the holy Grail, especially when it comes to masks and conditioners.This is a very generous amount of hair mask, and I don’t need to use very much even though I have long hair with bleached ends. I only add it from the middle to the ends, then use a detangling comb to comb it through with my head tipped upside down. I rinse it using the “squish to condish” method, rinsing it only very lightly with cool water.My hair has regained some of the curl it lost with our dry weather, and looks and feels great; it doesn’t feel greasy or weighed down even though it’s been a couple of days since I last washed it. It’s not leaving any kind of heavy buildup with repeated use.It smells very unisex and not perfumey; the scent is strong but fades pretty quickly.

I have very thick and curly hair that is always frizzy in the humid year-round climate I live in so I am always looking for great products. This is a product you use after shampooing your hair, apply this product which is thick and easily distributes easily in your hair and leave in while you finish your shower and then rinse out. There is no strong smell or greasy feel and my hair, after drying, was soft, smooth and easy to style. This product comes in a jar with a lid so it is a bit harder to open and apply rather than my normal bottle of conditioner is the only thing that I did not like but is an overall great product with all ingredients listed on the beautiful purple jar.

UPDATE_05-19-2024. This product does a miracle on giving my hair moisture, defined curl pattern and shine. My best hair days are days 2, 3 & 4! Sometimes I don't even wash my hair: I just mask it, let it penetrate -paying attention to the shaft/ends, wash it out, comb out, wrap it in a t-shirt, and then hair dry. It's simply incredible! I do add a bit of sandalwood essential oil as it air drys. My hair looks, feels and smells wonderful.My hair is curly-frizzy and dry, and I have struggled over the years to find that *magical* product to solve all my problems. So, far, BP69 seems to resolve my frizzy and wild hair days - but not the dryness. I find when I use this product, my hair isn't as frizzy and has way more curl style control, and it lasts a couple days. I use Darshana or Moroccan Argan Oil (straight from the Atlas Mountains) to give me that shine. Using all products in combination, I am completely satisfied with how my hair turns out. Perhaps if I invested in the other BP69 products I would see more consistent and favorable results. However, because I don't use the entire product line, using this one product is a game changer for me which is why I am giving it 5 stars.
