Kinfield Lip Rescue - Moisturizing Mint Balm for Dry Lips, Vegan & Cruelty-Free - 0.5 oz

I found this lip balm to be very moisturizing and once applied, it lasts for quite some time. It has a sweet mint taste and the balm is a smooth texture that is not too thick or sticky. I keep the balm next to my computer at work so it stays at the same temperature. From reading other reviews, a variance in temperature may change the consistency of the product. Either way, it is a great lip balm once applied. The ingredients include shea butter, mango seed butter, jojoba oil, sweet mint, and sea buckthorn oil. I greatly appreciate the brand being eco-friendly, cruelty free, vegan, and free from sulfates, parabens, and dyes.

this is a rich and hydrating lip balm. it's quite thick and has good staying power. it's definitely moisturizing but it has a graininess that feels like it's old. it doesn't last long - maybe it falls off my lips or me smacking my lips pulverizes the grains or whatever but it does eventually go away.

My wife will not allow anything into the house that has crazy ingredients. She has a list but basically we banned any of the 'xenoestrogens' and several other modern chemicals. While I don't recognize all the ingredients they all check out. We live where it is very hot so the main problem I have is that it 'melts' and is hard to apply as a liquid and also doesn't work as good. I have been shaking it up before use and this seems to help. Honestly the melting is probably a sign that this is made of quality and safe ingredients because if it was all chemicals it wouldn't melt. It is also very dry where we live so lip balm has a lot of work to do. This seems to last a good while and keeps my lips comfortable. The flavoring is a bit strong to my taste, generally I do not want to taste anything but the minty flavor is good for what it is.

Let’s face it - chapped lips are a bummer. Summer heat and winter cold, and winds of all seasons, can really do a number on our face in general but the lips are especially sensitive.Application is quick and easy; I didn’t notice any thickness or the odd pilling I’ve experienced with other brands. It lasted as long (maybe longer?) than most of the other products I’ve used. Scent is a subjective and personal preference but I find this quite light and pleasant.In all honesty I really do prefer the standard “stick” style vs. the tube; I just think they’re easier to keep clean and to access all the product. I also find that this particular balm is more textured than I prefer - “grainy” is the word that comes to mind.While I’m happy to have had the chance to try this product it’s not something I would choose to order again (YMMV).Thank you for reading my review, I hope it was helpful!

Expensive but good lip balm. Not overly sticky or shiny. The mint flavor is quite strong, in a good way.I was surprised that the balm is a bit grainy, maybe for exfoliation?
