Subtle color, unusual to sharpen

Lip pencils like these are unusual to me. The body is plastic, not wood, so it seems like the point should twist or click up. Instead, I think you’re just supposed to sharpen it like a normal lip pencil, which seems strange. Instead of a dispensing mechanism, the opposite end has a brush, which is a nice touch, though I don’t use it often. The color is pretty and subtle but a little more orange than I was expecting.

Sweed Lip Liner - Barely There Color

I needed a new lip liner and I really liked the Barely There color. Upon receiving it I noticed that the box it comes in is not sealed nor is there a shrink wrapped seal on the liner itself. I could not tell if this was because someone returned it or if it just doesn't have the seal. Either way, at $24 (at the time of my review) there should be a sanitary seal so you know that it's brand new. That said I really like the color and the liner itself. It is not self sharpening so you do need a lip liner pencil sharpener for this one.

Good formula but orangey

This lipliner is creamy and applies very easily with strong pigmentation. On my skin however, this shade (Barely There) is mighty warm and orange. The product photos make it look much cooler and neutral than it is.The pencil also arrived warped! It's literally curved like a parentheses. I've never seen a lipliner do that in my life.The lip brush on the end is unique but feels unnecessary. I'd rather have a sharpener.Overall, the formula is nice but the execution of everything else is not worth the very high price.

This lip liner had a smooth and consistent application. The texture of the product was soft enough to glide over my lips without any dragging, yet firm enough to withstand being sharpened.The shade (I used "Cindy") worked well with my skin undertones, but skewed a bit lighter in usage than it appeared on the product page.The stick itself had a brush on one end, and the liner on the opposite end. While I appreciated the inclusion of a brush, as it improved the application process? It would've been nice if the ends of the liner stick were labeled with "Brush" and "Liner," or something similar that would help me identify which side I was using.The liner lasted the majority of a day without needing application, and it didn't feather away onto my face or bleed into my lipstick. While it lasted throughout a workout, I did need a touch-up after sweating a fair bit.
