Takes the Day Off

I was very excited to be able to try this product. The directions says to use a bit of water and a brush. I ended up using an extra child’s toothbrush I had laying around. The application is a little weird but it takes off every bit of makeup including eye makeup without having to violently scrub like you do with makeup wipes. Even the micellar water irritates my eyes but this didn’t at all. It left my skin feeling refreshed and clean (not too dry). It is a bit pricey but it’s a really good product and I could see the bar lasting a long time (it’s a good size) so in the long run it probably evens out price wise. I did have a bit of an issue getting the tin open the first time but was able to finally pry it open with a butter knife.

Bar of Soap in a Tin, No Discernable Scent...

This arrives in a small, unsealed tin. When you open the tin, you will find a small, loose bar of soap. This small bar has no discernable scent; that makes this a smart choice for those with allergies or sensitivities to fragrance. And, like most bar soaps, it lather nicely and breaks up make-up as well as provides a clean feeling. It is just a little drying, so following up with a luxe moisturizer (like most are inclined to do anyway) will be very helpful. The container can get a little messy, but it can be rinsed and dried with a towel. This might be a good choice for a trip (as a result of liquid restrictions). It could easily be tossed at the end of one's journey.A solid, effective, small bar of soap.

Just like a soap, very effective

This makeup remover comes in a small container just like a round soap. You need to wet the soap, apply on a brush or any type of application and then apply on your face. It removes makeup absolutely amazing even waterproof mascaras. I really like the quality and how effective it is.

Not harsh on skin, avoid eyes, great for travel

TooD Turn it off make up remover is a soap like solid piece that comes in a cute pink tin. I was a bit skeptical when I saw it and smelled it. I though it was going to be like using a soap on my face but it was way softer than using a soap. It removed all the make up on my face. My skin wasn't terribly dry after rinsing and pat drying but it was clean. I wanted to check if it worked on eye make but it wasn't a good idea. It hurts like a soap got in the eye. It says on the instructions anyway. So skip the eyes. I used my silicon brush but no need to use a brush. I will use this in my travel makeup bag. It's great that it's not liquid and doesn't cover much space. I'm not sure if it's worth the high price tag but I think it will last pretty long.

Takes off makeup, leaves skin dry

I was intrigued by this solid bar-style makeup remover. Add a little water using a brush or cloth, swirl, and wash your face! It took my makeup off easily, including long-wear foundation and waterproof mascara, but it left my skin feeling dry.Even after my favorite moisturizer, my face was flaky the next day. It's a shame, because the portability, travel ramifications (think of the packing space you save!), skin-friendly formula, and ease of use are soo fantastic. I will continue to use it for a while to see if my skin compensates for the dryness because I desperately want it to be a good solution. Four stars for all the above-mentioned information!
