Sustai Insights

Lactic acid offers functional benefits as an effective exfoliant and moisturizer, contributing to improved skin appearance. However, it poses potential risks, including skin irritation and enhanced absorption, which may lead to adverse effects. Regulatory bodies have noted use restrictions due to these concerns. Overall, the ingredient is considered high risk, necessitating cautious usage, particularly for sensitive skin. Alternatives like glycolic acid may provide similar benefits with potentially lower irritation.

Sustai Insights

Lemongrass offers functional benefits as a natural preservative and fragrance agent. However, it may pose risks due to its high allergenic potential and enhanced skin absorption, which could lead to irritation in sensitive individuals. Regulatory bodies have noted its restricted use in certain formulations. Overall, its risk level is assessed as high, particularly for those with allergies. So sudsy

We use a dish brush with this soap and it takes such a tiny amount of it to clean the dishes. A quick tap on the soap bar and there are suds for days. We tip the container over to drain when it's not being used, and that seems to keep it dry even though we wash dishes very frequently (no dishwasher).
