So, I had some brass and lots of yellow....this did help with the brass but not as much as I'd like with the yellow. In some parts where I was a bit lighter it worked better. But it seemed like if I didn't already have whiter blonde, then it wouldn't help make it lighter. I feel like it's better for people who have a whiter blonde already and may have lighter tones of yellow or brass....because like I said, I got lighter in the few spots I was more white blonde, and didn't really take well to yellow which is mostly my entire hair....but the brassyness came out, but just gave me more yellow.....so though it did help me somewhat it still isn't what I'd hoped for which was less yellow
