The actual tanning part of the mousse worked really well for me, the color looked nice, developed how I wanted, not too orange in my opinion. The only thing I’m disappointed with is the pump stopped pumping, you can’t even push it down in the slightest so it’s super annoying to try to use it as you’re just having to dump it on the mitt.

I was excited to try the Isle of Paradise Express Mousse since I'd never used a mousse tanning product. I've only ever used gel/lotion types. The bottle suggested using a tanning mitt so I got one since I didn't want to dye my hands or nails. I tried it on my legs first and used about 4 pumps each. The mousse stayed in place and wasn't messy. It was really easy to apply and work in evenly. Because it leaves an initial color, it was easy to see if I'd missed any spots. Instructions say to rinse off after 30 minutes or leave on for a deeper tan and the tan will continueyo develop for severalhours. I rinsed off after about 45 mins and didn't notice a huge difference but my legs match my arms now. The tan did get a little darker but I really just wanted some color for my vacation so I can build the tan while I'm here. My legs were also super soft and shiny after, it was very hydrating. I like that you can build on the product to create a darker look if you prefer, it's helpful for those who aren't trying to make a drastic change after one application. The product didn't stink and was pleasant to use. I'd say I prefer the mousse formula to what I've used before because of ease of application and less mess.

Okay. I don't want to bash the company at all because they DO have awesome products that work. Their best self tanner is the Oil spray in the pink bottle. That stuff is amazing. With one or two applications I'm set for a week. My only issue with it was that it was an oil and I couldn't go to bed for like an hour after applying so I found this mousse that stated 30 minutes before your shower and I thought I'd try that. I'm a very fair toned lady so I need a lot to begin with. I put this on, applied wonderfully and waited 40 minutes and when I got in the shower it all washed off. No color was left and I was back to blinding lights. If you're fair skinned like me, try their oil spray in the pink bottle. It is AWESOME. Let it sit for an hour before you do anything though. Remember: 1 application is noticeable, but 2 or 3 applications is "good". For like a week!

I have been using self tanners for years and tried many brands. Nothing even compares to this one!Why I like it.1) it actually works. Once I wash the color guide off I actually have a beautiful tan. That being said I don't wash off after 30 minutes. I leave it on. The next day the color is perfect. You cannot tell it's not a real tan. This comment came from a girlfriend of mine that hates self tanners and pleaded with me to stop wearing them and embrace my snow white skin. She loved the look of this product. If you have stubborn areas like me on my shins just use the "Prep It" product first. Yes it is worth it and it works. Made by Isle of Paradise also on their website.2) it doesn't rub off on clothes like every other product I had tried.Don't know how but it doesn't come off even on white clothes.3) It dries in under 1 minute.4) NO smell!!!Boy they nailed it on this one. Please keep making this. I was getting tired of using self tanners that didn't really work. I can't live without this one. Thanks again Isle of Paradise!
