I have used Briogeo shampoos in the past and always appreciate the quality of the ingredients they use. This shampoo comes in an interesting bottle that you twist the cap to open a small hole in the middle for the shampoo to come out. For the shampoo, this worked well, but I do feel like this design can easily lead to leakage as I question how well it truly seals. The shampoo lathered well but I wasn't fond of the earthy scent. The shampoo also left my hair feeling a bit stripped which I wouldn't have expected from a color protect shampoo. Overall, the shampoo didn't work for my long normal to fine hair so for the price I will probably be looking at some of their other shampoos that are a bit more moisturizing.

When I got this shampoo, it was already leaking out from the bottom- so that was disappointing. However, I washed of the bottom and left with the cap facing the sky and that worked. I was happy I didn't get too sketched out to use it by the crusty goo on the bottom when it arrived. It smells so good and my hair looks shiny and it helps my red hair look more vibrant. This would be a 5-star if the container were better and didn't leak on me.

I'm fairly stingy with five-star ratings. For me, a five-star has to be an amazing product with no drawbacks.This is an amazing product with no drawbacks. Not even the price point, because this is the sudsiest shampoo I've ever used. I started out with my normal amount and am now down to about half. I noticed absolutely no scent, let alone an annoying one, but that could be because I also was using a shower steamer.I have fine, naturally curly hair that on a good day is grumpy. My usual philosophy with shampoo is "first do no harm." I'm happy if it just avoids angering the beast. This shampoo has the beast smiling sweetly. I could tell before I even dried my hair. When I got out of the shower, my hair was falling in nice little ringlets. It hasn't done that with any product I've used in about a year, not even my former go-to shampoo.OK, so taming grumpy curls isn't what this shampoo sets out to do. It's billed as a color protector. Yeah, it does that, too. I'm a month past my last salon appointment, and it even restored a lot of the shine.This stuff is the real deal. At this price, I'm definitely hiding it from my kids, but it's worth it.

Briogeo has done it again!This Color Me Brilliant Mushroom & Bamboo shampoo for color-treated hair is everything it promises to be.From the first moment that I used this attractively-packaged and well-labeled shampoo, I enjoyed the experience. Briogeo’s shampoo cap is engineered to unscrew partially and then dispense so there’s no cap to juggle on and off. The shampoo has a nice consistency, and you can tell it is a rich blend of nourishing ingredients. The fragrance is light and does not linger.I was especially impressed by two features of this product:1) This shampoo builds a nice lather that is still gentle and doesn’t feel like it strips my hair, and my tresses felt more voluminous and full of body.2) This is AMAZING for brunette color-treated hair. I am a level 5 brunette with babylights, and I do use some brass-preventing masks and conditioners, but OMG this shampoo is a game-changer. Somehow after just one shampoo and my regular (no color) conditioner, my blonde highlights are cool and muted, like I just got fresh toner at the salon.You don’t need to use much of this lovely shampoo, so I expect it will last me quite a while which makes it a good value per use in my book.Hope if you try this that you feel as fab as I did!💁🏻‍♀️
