Comically large quantity

I grabbed this bottle of shampoo because I have a 10 year old daughter with very long hair and a 26 year old younger brother living with me who I'm convinced doesn't understand that if you have short hair you only need a little bit. Suffice it to say I have never in my life met people who wash more shampoo down the drain and I myself have long hair too so there's a lot of shampoo being used in my house. I am the type of person who hates to run out of things so I use coupons and have a backstock. This shampoo container is a whole gallon. It fits the theme of never running out. When one actually thinks about a gallon you should picture a gallon of milk or a gallon of wind shield washer fluid. It's a lot. This is not the thickest shampoo but it does smell pretty good and it will last a very long time compared to even the BJs size bottles so I am pleased. I also now have an excuse to get the fancy "permanent" pump bottles for our showers and stop having the ugly ones that come with the shampoo and the caps break off of. If you don't mind the loss of space you could easily buy a pump that fits this bottle and just stick it in the shower, never to be replaced again.

The bottle has a safety seal under the twist cap. It was wrapped in a plastic bag, and in a box with no padding so it was bouncing around inside it. So that safety seal did a great job.This shampoo is a very squeaky-clean cleanser. It makes a lot of fine, sudsy foam, and a little goes a long way. Those who need a gentler everyday shampoo might find this to be a bit potent, and it really cuts through oil and build-up and product, but it's not overly harsh.The honey/coconut scent is kissed with an elusive, custardy floral, something like ylang ylang with a faint spice of white amber. It's a nice balanced scent but not overpowering, and it doesn't linger too much on hair.
