I love these dryer balls. They were my first excursion into buying natural wool balls. Previous to these balls, I used the plastic nubby balls, or dryer sheets, or fabric softener. I wanted to cut back on some recurring expenses while at the same time being more natural and healthier. These balls are great. They are a nice size (bigger than other balls I've seen),, and they work better than the plastic ones to me because I've noticed the plastic balls get HOT out of the dryer. I just figure it can't be good to release plastic into my clothes like that.I also enjoy adding essential oils to my balls. The white balls do get stained from the oil, the darker ones don't just because you can't see stains on the darker balls which makes sense. But even if your balls don't look as good as they used to, they still work! Like I said, I've had mine for 5 years now. I also use both white and gray balls in all my loads. I don't find that the color of my balls make any difference in the quality of the load. So I use both the white and gray balls in white only loads and also in colored clothes. They don't get lint all over so the color doesn't really matter.I've had these exact balls for 5 years now. They've been through a lot and don't look as new as they used to, but they still work. As long as I can find them all (the kids lose them, the dog will try to eat them etc), it is all good. I usually try to use at least 2-3 balls in every load I do, but there are times when I can only find one and that seems to make a difference as well. So even if you lose some of them, don't worry because they will still dry your clothes faster and healthier than without any of them!Happy laundering!

My towels seemed to be losing their absorbancy, and I felt bad throwing multiple drier sheets into the trash and landfill each week, so after researching options I decided to try the wool drier balls. Boy, am I glad that I did! My towels are much fluffier and absorbant, and my clothes dry faster and with fewer wrinkles than before. I put a drop of two of lavender oil on one of the balls when I throw it in the drier and my entire load smells wonderful! I am definitely a convert! These have held up well through many washings, and don't release any lint or residue on my clothes or in the drier lint filter. These were a great value for the money. My only problem is that my dogs like to steal the balls out of the drier to play with them, so I have to be sure to keep the drier door closed between loads!

We've been using Wool dryer balls for several years now. At first we switched over as a more sustainable option to the endless amounts of dryer sheets we were using and constantly tossing in the trash.These wool dryer balls have excellent longevity and there is a noticeable difference in drying time when 4 to 5 balls are added to the dryer. This is helpful in our household because we are constantly doing laundry and we can put larger loads into the dryer.We also add a range of essential oils to the wool dryer balls which leaves your clothes smelling delicious. The balls emit just enough of the oil scent without leaving your clothes smelling like you bathed in essential oils.The only down side to these is that they get stuck easily inside clothes and frequently get transported away from the dryer. They'll pop up when you are folding the clothes and you just have to make sure you get them back to the dryer. We have two dogs and occasionally they'll find them before we can take them back to the dryer and treat it like a play toy.

I had high hopes for this product, which promised to dry my clothes, scent them, and iron out the wrinkles too. I excepted them to be firmer and larger. Unfortunately, I don’t feel that they do a very good job- particularly in comparison to a plastic product, which while not eco-friendly, at least wouldn’t absorb as much water and do a better job of getting my clothes dry, which is what I was looking for. The price was fair, and I like the bag that accompanied it.
