Let me tell me tell you something. I normally don't do reviews but I heard my ancestors calling me back to Africa with this. My skin was so soft so moisturizing and no..it won't like for 30 minutes or an hr...it lasts ALL DAY for me. I mean hey everyone's skin is different I'm mixed and it's difficult to find stuff that works for my skin but THIS is working so much for my skin. And it's ALL NATURAL. use a small amount, don't use a chunk because even a. Small size if you use a loofah it makes so much soap. The thickness is very good . There's not really a smell like it's not bad it doesn't smell like anything but what's in there. It's a very soft smell. I got the one with the paste so it's good size for the amount and it lasthers so I don't use a lot to wash bevaude it makes so much soap bubbles. And now the size is good because it can last you probably so long too . I just used this only a few times and I still have so much to go😂. I also feel like with my skin it's very very clean my pores are CLEAN dear Lord. I can hear my ancestors I'm going back y'all..🤭😂😭

I'll buy more when I run out

This is my first time trying it. It gets a little messy trying to get out a little bit at a time, mix it with the right amount of water and emulsify on my scrubbing pad and scrub my face. Other than that I think it works? I read the other comments that said if you don't do these steps it can strip your bare skin so I try to use this once a week. Maybe twice if my face needs it. This is unscented and leaves my pores looking clean.

Maintains clear skin!

If you have ever used black soap then you know it's not as moisturizing. You have to use facial moisturizer after washing your face with this soap (and that is word from a Black certified Esthetician such as myself!) Or use a moisturizing step 2 wash-- still additionally using moisturizing cream to finalize.Its just is what it is! But I love African BLACK SOAP! I will never stop using it and anyone can use it. This soap was the only thing that kept my skin clear during pregnancy! <3
