The disc are nice but the so called peppermint scent was not giving peppermint and was disappointingly non existent. I decided to use my own essential oil and that did not disappoint. It did take a little while for the disc to suck up some of the essential oil but it held well after the absorption and my car smells so good now so thanks for the nice and well made disc the oil definitely can use an adjustment. I didn’t use the ribbons which are pretty cool but you’ll have to stick it through with a needle or such I used some strong crafting string that was easy to thread through without the ribbon hassle.

It's a nice set and a nice idea. The oil wasn't my favorite scent but smells clean. The ribbons are extremely hard to get into the ceramic tablets. I wish they had come with strings attached, provided a smaller string, or a larger hole. I had to find something pointed and sharp to push the ribbon in. I tried using the oil sparingly at first on the tablet and left it in my closet. I didn't smell anything for few days, so I put big drops of oil on the tablet and tried again. I even placed it right next to the door and still didn't smell anything. It's a good idea but doesn't exactly work as expected.

I ordered the ASAWASA Car Air Fresheners because I enjoy real scents. Artificial and chemical fresheners react negatively with my olfactory system and affect my concentration by giving me a headache. There is also a negative impact on the lungs.At 1st sniff of the peppermint oil, it smells oddly not like peppermint. After a night of being on (in) the ceramic disk, the peppermint is unmistakable. I believe the potency of the oil having so much scent makes it nearly unrecognizable.The oil takes a bit of time to soak into the disk, but it does. I hung the disk in my bathroom overnight. In the morning, there was no peppermint smell in my bathroom, but the disk itself retained the peppermint smell.This method of 'freshening' an area is very passive. It is totally unlike an electric diffuser or warmer. The scent is discernible when the disk is sniffed. I laid the disk on my desk between my arms as I am typing, and could smell the peppermint from 13" away. After a while, I can no longer smell it but that is because of becoming 'used to' the scent being there.I think I'll use these disks with the peppermint oil and add some cedarwood, lavender, eucalyptus, thyme, cinnamon or clove oils to deter moths in my clothes closet or pantry.To tie the enclosed ribbon onto the disk, one end needs cut to a point to get it through the hole in the disk. You could also use 1/8" wide ribbon in a different color of your choice to make the hanging disk more appealing if it will be visible. 1/8" ribbon would probably fit right through. The enclosed ribbons are black, and that is good enough for me.I would purchase this set again, as the oil alone is comparable to others and worth the $10 price - but includes the 6 discs. The set comes packed very nicely in form cut styrofoam in a cardboard box that can be wrapped for gifting. I couldn't help but notice the misspelling of better on the box. A phrase states, "Enjoying a Bettle Life".I don't give 5 stars lightly and rarely do so. I reserve 5 stars for items I really like as they are, that I would purchase again, and would both gift and recommend to others.

I'm an essential oil enthusiast so when I saw this, I had to order it.I love the fact that you get 6 ceramic sachets with this order with matching ribbons. I do not care for the peppermint essential oil provided in this order, but I have so many nice smelling oils that I am essentially using the discs to make closets, and certain areas around my home smell really nice by adding my own scent.Since rodents don't like the smell of peppermint, I'm keeping two of these discs with the peppermint oil provided in my attic to deter visitors. The others are used to carry my preferred scent around my home.I think the price point for these discs alone is well worth it. The oil provided wasn't as important to me.Tip: If you cut the tip of the ribbon at an angle it makes it easier to put through the narrow slit in each disc.

My grandma lived next to this old lady whose house always smelled of fresh pine. One day I asked her why and she showed me these bottles of essential oil. Then she showed me all these discs she had hidden around. Just like these. Even had one that was a circle. It sat on top of a light bulb so it got warm and released the scent even better. So clever. Anyway, these discs remind of her and for that reason alone, I like them. I will say, getting that darn ribbon through the middle was a pain. Other than that, I recommend if you like to use essential oils. Thanks!
