I received the Calm (Lavender) version of the Irene Organics Dead Sea Salt Bath Soak. Upon removing from the box, I immediately noticed it had a nice seal on the outside. I prefer when items like this have been sealed by the company, so that was nice.I love the natural, true lavender scent of this bath soak. The scent comes from high quality lavender essential oil, which is one of only two ingredients this contains. The other ingredient is 100% premium Dead Sea Salt. The product itself is very, very fine. I felt like that helped me to not accidentally use too much or too little in my bath. I love that this is cruelty, mineral oil, paraben, and fragrance free. It's a lovely handmade product.The directions do say to use 1-2 handfuls, but I don't think you really truly need that much to benefit from the effects of this wonderful bath soak. I used approximately 1/2 cup (or 4 ounces) for my standard sized tub, and that was plenty to scent my bath water. The salt dissolves quickly and leaves the water smelling great and feeling kind of silky. It was such a relaxing soak, and I felt it did help my sore muscles.I think this would make a great gift for anyone, but would be especially nice for pregnant women or for post partum use. The Dead Sea Salt is very rich in minerals like Magnesium that are great for revitalizing sore muscles. It's also great for helping cleanse, detox, and restore the body. Having only two ingredients, this feels like a safe choice.Plus, what pregnant lady or new mom wouldn't want the chance to have a nice, relaxing soak in the tub with high quality bath salts? I know I enjoyed it.

It is not a large jar so I was concerned about using it all in one bath. Well a little goes a long way! I used about a quarter of the jar and it was plenty to make my bath smell wonderful and to have an effect on the water. The rose scent is really nice and not overwhelming at all. I would say this jar would work for 4-5 baths if you have a larger tub and maybe a couple more if you have a standard or small tub if I had to guess. It seems like a nice product and with the smaller grains of salt is does dissolve more easily. I will order again as I like that it is a smaller company making it and I love the scent.

One sniff and you can tell it's real essential oils. Just a relaxing, lovely, nice lavender scent (and I'm sure the other ones are just as nice). It contains two ingredients: the dead sea salts and essential oils. That's all it needs. It's handmade and I love their commitment to toxin-free products.It has a very fine texture. I sprinkle a few tablespoons or so into the bath for a relaxing soak. (I have a wooden tiny spoon that came with another set of bath salts (and it is super convenient but you can just shake some into the cap and shake it into the water, too.) You really don't need a huge amount to get the scent and skin-softening benefits. But, if you want a very potent scent, you can always use more.The jar is not huge, but depending on how much you use this can easily last several baths (or many more if you use it sparingly). I'm enjoying this so much.It makes a great little indulgence for yourself and would fit nicely into a "spa day" collection for a loved one.

Scent: CALM - LavenderIf you are looking for an extra safe bath salt for soaking in the tub, these are pure and clean and have nothing but Dead Sea salt and some lavender essential oils in the mix. The first thing that I noticed when I opened the jar is that the salts were of a much finer grain than any others that I've seen. I can only assume that they pulverized them down, but stopped before they reached a powder level. Makes them dissolve much more easily and easier to control how much you take out or pour into your bath water.Because, to me, this is a small jar (16 ounces), I didn't want to use this all up in one bathing session. Usually I would use about 8 ounces or more of something like this. Instead, I skimped on this the first time I tried this out so as not to use them all up so quickly. Can't really say how much I used because I guessed and just poured. Maybe about 4 ounces. Have to admit that I was surprised how little I needed to affect my bath water. It still added that lovely lavender scent, as well as provided me with a better bathing water. Softens skin and feels nice.They claim this can exfoliate skin, but I'm not too sure how that might work because it dissolves in the water on contact. It got my mind thinking and I experimented with an idea that popped into my head. I have a body scrub that really only moisturizes the skin because it just doesn't have enough grit to do any exfoliation. So I added some of this to my scrub and it upped the quality of that body scrub. So that's something else you can use this for while bathing.My only wish is that the jar were much larger.

This 'Irene Organics' all natural bath salt soak has been an extremely helpful product for me. This product has a soft and pleasant lavender scent, that when added to the bath, gives a nice relaxing feeling to my body and mind. It contains exfoliating dead sea & Himalayan salt, so it can gently exfoliate the skin, and also moisturizes too. The natural ingredients of this bath soak work very nicely to care for your body and mind, and it really has soothed my sore muscles at the end of a long, stressful day. The product has quite a bit in it, and really only needs a spoonful (or 2, depending on your preferences) for a nice bath soak. I am very happy with this product, and I would definitely get it again. 😊
