I’m growing my mustache and goatee back after a long hiatus, and most of my old beard care products were either running low or had gone bad. So, this seemed like a convenient way to get back in the game.Presentation is nice. This would make for a quick, easy gift for anyone with facial hair. Everything has a pleasant, mild old-school barbershop scent. The appeal might skew more toward older guys, but I can’t imagine anyone finding it offensive.The 2-in-1 beard and face moisturizer is a smooth consistency. You don’t get a ton, but what you do get is high quality and soaks in easily.The beard oil was a pleasant surprise. It’s really thick, which was initially concerning. But it does a great job of softening and adding shine to your facial hair. Probably my favorite part of the set.The balm is probably my least favorite part. Don’t get me wrong; it’s not bad. Just much heavier and stickier than most of the beard balms I’ve used before. It’s more of an outright mustache wax. It does have really strong hold, though. If you need that kind of control, I can see where it would come in handy. It’s just not my thing.It could be a 5 star purchase if you got a little more of each product (especially the moisturizer) and if the balm wasn’t quite so heavy, but I’m still satisfied with it overall.

I got the variety pack, so I decided to just go with how the dude in the video lined up and used the 3 products. I rinsed my beard with hot water and patted it dry then I started with a small amount of the Conditioner, light smell is amazing and not overpowering, texture is thinner than lotion, then I moved onto the Oil, it has a slightly thicker consistency than other overpriced bear oil I've tried, and I actually love it, the feel and texture is like personal lubricant, if you know what I mean, it goes on and actually absorbs into my beard hair, smells great too, then I followed the Oil with the Balm, I've never used balm before, I was worried at first because it was white when I rubbed it into my hands and ran it through my beard, but the whiteness quickly disappears & absorbs into the beard so I can style and tame it the sexy way I like! For Less than 6 bucks for 3 products, and it's not a tiny trial amount, it's a large amount, and remember a little goes a long way, like toothpaste and shampoo, don't overdo it and waste it!
