Overall, this product does what it says it will do. I have very course, Italian beard hair and do NOT have sensitive skin. It does condition very well, and make my beard feel nice and soft. However, it is supposed to be Vanilla and Sandalwood with a touch of menthol. However, it feels as though I’m washing my face with Bengay or Icyhot. Almost to the point of burning my skin. I would not purchase this item again on the sole fact that there is no vanilla or sandalwood scent and it is very overpowering with the “menthol.”For what it’s worth, I saw this product at a discount thrift store ending in Maxx that had this exact product on its clearance for $4. For what it’s worth, I still would not purchase it again for the $4.

I picked up Arlo's hoping the 12oz. would last longer and save a few bucks compared to my usual beard wash.The scent is what you'd expect from the listing and smells good. The product itself works quite well. My beard gets pretty dry in the winter, so I skipped beard oil for a day to test this out and my beard stayed pretty soft through the day and into the next morning.My only complaint, like another review stated, is the fact it feels like I'm having to use twice as much of the product than I typically do for a longer beard.Like I said, it works well and I'm happy with it, but in the end I may just go back to my usual brand since I can't see this lasting much longer than the 6oz. tube I typically get elsewhere.
