These sheets are great! Especially in the summer. They’re luxurious and soft! They are thinner than our other sheets but more of a lightweight thin. I never thought they were “too thin”. They’re perfect for summer or if you run a bit hotter when you sleep. When it comes to getting more sheets or a replacement, I’ll be repurchasing this!

First let me say what a sheet snob I am. From what I purchase to how I wash them. I find these to be the perfect thickness (not to thick but not paper thin) they feel extremely soft against my skin. I have spent $$$$ on other sheets and I find these to be same quality for the price. The elastic band goes all the way around which ensures a snug fit that won’t come off . That combined with the deep pockets these fit my mechanical bed without me having to constantly pull them back down. They label the fitted sheet so you know which section is top/bottom or side and for me I love this. I have purchased a second pair so I will let you know how they hold up. For now I love them. I’d attach a photo but they are sheets what good will that do. I will say full size fits perfectly.

Pros: I will say that the sheets are nice, I love how the fitted sheet grabs the mattress and it is easy to find the elastic when trying to make the bed. Nicely made, but not what I needed.Cons: As I continue my journey of "personal summers" and kicking my legs out and in and out and in from under the covers trying to cool off, I am constantly searching for the perfect sheet. I ordered these because the comparison table listed them as "cool", but that is not the case for me. Granted, everyone is different, but for me they feel like a t-shirt that is sticking to me on an extremely humid day. Egyptian cotton sheets work for many, but not for me. As I also purchased the California Design Den 800 count sheets, I have learned that my system prefers this more crisp sheet set (apparently above 600, because the 600 and 400 didn't work for me in the past). You live and you learn.

Sweave VS California Design Den Sheets – King SizeOut of the package, the things I noticed were: Sweave had a softer and heavier feel to them and had a nice edge and stitching. California Design was nice, but a lighter weight with simple seams and had a few threads hanging. California Design had nice elastic corner pockets with the Head/Foot marked which was nice touch. Sweave was a simple corner but had a 2nd Elastic strap on each corner. We will see how they hold down after sleeping on them.I threw both sets in the wash on hot, as that is how I wash my sheets.Taking the California Design out of the wash, they felt softer and thicker, but I could see they had ‘shed’ some threads on the white Sweave sheets. Sweave almost had a ‘plasticky’ feel to them and were almost transparent.I threw each one separately into the dryer on the sheet setting. Taking California Design out of the dryer, they didn’t feel quite as smooth as before the wash, but still pretty smooth. The lint catcher was filled with tiny fibers, almost like fur. The Sweave coming out of the dryer felt very smooth, with a slight sheen to them. There wasn’t anything in the lint catcher except a couple strings/fibers from the California Design sheets. Both were wrinkly, but not horribly, and I think the Sweave had a little more wrinkle to them. (my previous sheets were Charter Club 100% Supima Cotton 550 and California Design seems about the same and Sweave quite a bit smoother).After washing and drying, the Sweave pillow cases are 3” longer than the California Design cases. The California Design are about ½” wider. Both are envelope type pillowcases.Will update after sleeping on and washing a few more times.
