This luxurious Shea Butter is a must have in my skin care regimen. It melts beautifully in the palm of your hand, and absorbs quickly into the skin. This has been so very helpful in keeping my body moisturized, and my chronic psoriasis calmed. One of my favorite uses is as a deeply moisturizing mask for my scalp psoriasis and pixie short hair. I work a generous amount into scalp and hair, leave on for 15 - 30 minutes, and shampoo out. Makes my hair oh so soft, and deeply moisturizes and calms my scalp. Highly recommend this Shea Butter.

Good to have for certain seasons

I use this every single day, but it’s not enough for the winter. It’s light weight enough for Summer and Spring, but as it’s gets colder, be prepared to have to reapply.I understand why people don’t enjoy the smell, however I love that Earthy, natural aroma. It honestly just goes with the general theme of me.The consistency makes it a little hard to get out of the container, especially if it’s a little cooler in your home, but if you rub it in between your hands it will melt.It does help maintain the softness of my skin. I’ve always had smooth skin because of my habit of full body moisturizing right after showers, but maintenance is important. This did the job. Now that it’s colder I will be moving onto something else.

This is a "solid" deal!

I was surprised and initially disappointed to open the jar and discover that the shea butter was in solid form. I'm a novice at buying this type of stuff online. In spite of that I began to use it on my super dry legs and elbows by scooping out a small chunk and heating it briefly in my hands before applying it to my skin. No more dry skin! I'll probably use it more often in the cold winter months and make some diy body butter. This is high quality stuff!
