Because of the whipped texture, this body butter feels much lighter than it actually is. You have to be careful not to apply too much, because after the oils and butters start to melt into the skin, it can feel greasy if you’ve put on more than your skin can absorb. It is moisturizing, and after using it for two weeks my skin did feel softer and smoother, but I found the slight shimmer in the product unappealing and would have been more inclined to use it if I didn’t look like a Twilight vampire after application. Very nice, thick body butter. It goes on really well and absorbed pretty fast without leaving my hands feeling greasy or taking forever to absorb. The smell is pleasant and I don't feel like I'm bathing myself in perfume. It's vaguely citrus-y which I guess is from the tangerine and ylang-ylang oils. I LOVE that this has minimal ingredients...especially ones I recognize! Shea butter is my overall favourite type of moisturizer to use so I love this stuff. A little does go a long way especially if you use it after a shower or before bed.

This is a very moisturizing body butter. Lavender is the dominant scent, but it fades after a few hours. I apply this after showering in the morning, and my skin stays soft and hydrated all day long. I've been using this for a couple of weeks now, and I can really tell a difference in my skin. This is a nice addition to my routine.

This is a really nice body butter! It has high-quality ingredients that are truly moisturizing. I appreciate that the ingredients are natural, vegan, and cruelty free, too. My favorite thing about this body butter is how luxurious it is to apply. It's thick and melts into my skin. When I first opened the container, I thought it may be more difficult to apply, because it looked like it might have a hard or chunky texture. That's not the case at all, though - it is very smooth and easy to use. It doesn't leave my skin greasy, but I still feel moisturized all day after applying it.The main scent I smell when using this body butter is lavender. It's not overpowering, though, and fades within a few hours. It's relaxing to use in the evening. Another cool aspect of this product is that it has tiny flecks of sparkles in it - they aren't noticeable at all unless you shine a direct light on it. This makes my skin look glowy and healthier.I definitely recommend this body butter! My only critique is that it is a fairly small container (only 4 oz in size). However, you don't need to apply much at once. I use this once a day after showering, and I expect it to last for at least a few months. I would recommend getting this as a luxurious, moisturizing product to use daily in the winter. If you are looking for something to use multiple times a day or to carry around with you, you might want something different.One last note - I love that this comes with an expiration date on the lid! It's so easy to lose track of lotions and body butters and forget how long you've had them, so it's nice to know when you need to use them up by. The expiration date on mine is almost three years from when I received it, so I am sure I will use it all up long before then.
