Not much a Con, but a warning about how impossibly rich this butter is! Due to its super-hydrating and oil/butter base, this body soother may feel heavy if applied to liberally. Just a small pea-sized pinch will do for arms and legs, smaller for hot spots like dry elbows and knees. Too much applied may feel greasy and heavy, or may feel clogging. Be careful as well if you decide to use it to bust flaky feet; you might slip on tile or wooden flooring. Easy does it, please!

I ordered this specifically for its clean and simple ingredients. It’s hard to tell what the scent will be like when ordering online and initially, I thought the scent was quite lovely. It has a nice combination of essential oils and I could smell the rose and nutmeg. I noticed after a little bit of time with wearing it is that the lasting scent from the mixture was patchouli. Personally, I do not like patchouli, so it was difficult for me to use with that as the lingering scent. But another scent may be perfect for me. The body butter is thick but without being greasy and dries well into almost a powdery feel. Perhaps not the most hydrating body butter but thick and absorbent.

I feel pretty strongly about glitter in body products, and I think that if you are going to put a bunch of glitter in a product, you should make it super clear in the listing. It should be clear as day that you’re buying a glittery product. “Leaves your skin feeling soft, silky, hydrated and shimmery” doesn’t sound quite like “we dumped a bunch of mica in here and now you’ll look like a teenager who just discovered body spray”Aside from the glitter ones of it, this body butter is nicely moisturizing. It is mostly solid but melts immediately on skin contact. The scent is pleasant but overbearing.

This whipped body butter is a fun consistency, denser than butter cream frosting, but reminiscent of its texture. It’s very “buttery” and definitely a fun way to moisturize. The “Passion” scent is VERY spicy! If you love cardamom and cinnamon and other earth, spicy scents, then this one is for you! I put some on my hands, washed my hands, and I can still smell it. It’s very nice, but intense. So just be aware that it is extremely fragrant and if you are not into those spicy notes, I’d choose a different Little Moon scent.

This whipped body butter is thick and creamy. It's very moisturizing with great ingredients like shea butter and cocoa butter. The size is only 4oz but should last for awhile because it's thick.The smell is heavily ylang ylang, mixed with some herbal notes and cinnamon. Ylang ylang is a strong, musky and herbal flower scent. If you never smelled ylang ylang before, do note that it's strong and overwhelming and maybe not for everyone.
