Crepe Erase Body Serum - Brightens, Hydrates with Vitamin C & Butters, 4 fl oz

I have eczema and very sensitive skin that breaks out in hives with many skincare products, especially those with artificial fragrances. I did not break out after using this for about a week, so that's good news to me.On the bright side, this is easy to apply and spreads on my skin easily for full coverage. I also love the citrus scent that doesn't smell too artificial - I find it very pleasant and not overpowering, and I am very picky about my scents. I like the applicator that has a cap if you need to store it standing, or leave it off if you just want to be minimal. The lid also helps prevent it from accidentally squeezing out lotion during traveling.On the down side, I don't see much effect after using it. I used it on one leg but not the other to compare. My skin, while it feels more moist when I apply this serum, doesn't seem to improve in its dryness after a day. It also doesn't seem to help with the darker pigmented areas on my leg.So, overall, the immediate feel after application is that it's nice. I like the light not-too-artificial citrus scent and my skin feels hydrated. It just doesn't seem to last very long.

This serum has a nice citrus-y scent to it. It applies smoothly and absorbs really quickly. I've been using it before a firming lotion since serums are more to prep the skin and bring additional benefits. It do see a little difference after using this and before applying lotion, it seems to both brighten and smooth. I've had 2 kids and have come to terms with the fact that the skin on my stomach will never look the same, but this is helping a little. Makes me happier which is what really matters.

I don't think this is a bad product, but relative to the price (currently about $68), I am less impressed than I probably should be. I have been using this product on one arm and the left side of my chest for about a week now. I have been applying it right after showering and before applying my body moisturizer. It smells and feels nice and absorbs into your skin pretty easily. However, I see no difference at all between the side I have been applying it to and the side I have not been using it on. Perhaps this is a product that needs more time to have an effect. I do plan on using the entire tube so if I do see improvements down the road I will update my review.I am not really a fan of the tube itself. Underneath the cap is a pump dispenser that works well for the first couple of pumps but then kind of sputters out. You have to put the cap back on and invert the product to get more to come out. I think a squeeze tube probably would be better. There is also no way to remove the pump from the tube so when the product starts to get low, I guess I'll have to cut it open to get out what the pump can't pump out.I also noticed that the ingredients are not printed on the tube, and while the product came with a booklet listing the ingredients of many of this company's products, this product was not in the booklet. The ingredients are in the listing photos but it just seems weird to me that they are not printed on the tube.Based on my experience so far with this product I don't think I would recommend it. I am not seeing enough benefits to justify the high price.

Right off the bat, I’m put off by the fact that I have no idea what are the full ingredients in the Body Firm serum. It comes with a little booklet with the ingredient list for many, many products by Crépe Erase, but this particular product is not in the booklet—and I’ve looked through it about ten times! The ingredients are also not listed on the tube. The serum itself has a really nice feel and absorbs quickly. It has a slight orange fragrance, which is nice. I applied it to the backs of my hands, and it really does give them a moisturized glow. I’m guessing the effects are just when the product is on and will not improve the skin though. I’m not sure it’s worth the price, although I would like to try some of their other products.
