Runny soap

This is my first time purchasing this body wash and I’m a little disappointed. The scent is nice. It’s very mild. However the body wash itself is extremely runny even when shaken and it goes on kinda like a mild sudsy gel there’s no real lather and I feel like it’s basically being rinsed off as I’m putting it on, I don’t know that I would purchase this product again

I acquired this turmeric body wash through Vine.I was interested in the product for the potential skin brightening and age defying properties.The product label list the product as a body and/or face wash.Using it to wash my face, the product didn't work up to much of a soapy/sudsy lather.However, I was able to wash my face with it.The smell of the soap is something I won't be able to get used to. It's quite strong and unpleasant. Thankfully, the soap and the smell wash away well. I couldn't smell the soap on my face afterward.As for my skin after, I did feel clean and refreshed.As such, I intend to continue using the product beyond just this first use.

I am a big fan of turmeric soap products, and use them daily, so was really happy to receive this turmeric body wash.Here's what I like about it: It lathers up nicely and does a great job of cleaning. My skin feels hydrated and pampered after using this, so that's great! Also, it's made in the U.S.A, which is a definite plus! All natural, with no added chemicals or unnecessary ingredients, and cruelty free. All good things.Here's what I don't like about it: It arrived in a box that was totally ripped up and squished. Luckily, the bottle of body wash inside the box was intact, but the presentation was very poor. The box looks like someone took it out of the garbage and taped it back up. Not a good first impression.Then, there's the scent. This just does NOT smell good to me. A strange, off-putting scent that is hard to describe, but it is not pleasant.Overall, three stars.
