Must be something like five years now. Ever since I've found this product, I just keep using it.I have very curly hair, and if I want it to behave at all in a manner that might be professional I have to tame the beast with some product. If I go with a product that is too thick, then the hair becomes matted and you can tell I just slathered a mess of garbage on my hair.But, this stuff just holds. Look. It's still product. Run your hair with clay pomade and you're gonna feel something. But, it makes my hair look like the real deal, holds just fine, and can be brushed out (you'd be better served washing it out if you have a sensitive scalp and doing something like this hurts... but can be done in a pinch)It doesn't hurt that folks that do get close to my hair (I'm 6'4", and I like my personal space... this means folks I care about when sitting down who get close) say the scent is not offensive and often pleasant. Hopefully some day I'll stop hanging around 18th century English majors.It's a good product. I should buy stock I purchase and use this stuff. Compact carrying container, ample product, does what's on the tin. Get this, move on, and feel confident your hair is just gonna do its thing.

For people who are OK with the fragrance, they should be fine. It was listed as unscented. I can smell a fragrance and for me it is too strong.

I was using Meraki BluMaan for the longest time, but noticed a decline in quality. I'd get a strong hold initially that would fall flat within hours and by day's end my hair fell flat. This didn't matter the time of year, humidity, temperature, anything.I've used a lot of Jack Black products and have been satisfied across the board with a lot of their skin and hair care products, so I decided to give the their pomade a try.It's not overly sticky and is easy to work in your fingers and hands before applying to your hair. It goes on light and I didn't feel my fingers sticking to the fibers in my hair like some other pomades. I blow dry and style with a brush and it provides a strong hold without leaving my hair feeling like have anything in it.My hair is short in length and I'd say a small amount, index tip fingers worth is more than enough to hold the shape you want.
