I was gifted one of these with my bunn. It survived daily coffee, frequent rinses and wipe downs, bangs against the trash and trips through the dish washer for roughly 10 years before tearing away from the top (small tear, not a collapse). No issues vs a paper filter and brew taste the same. Easy in, easy fill, easy out.

Pure coffee, environmentally friendly

We don't need paper filters any more. This reusable filter is very capable of probably lasting forever. If you run water over it, it doesn't even need scrubbed or touched. The paper filters can have chemicals on them, so I don't prefer them. The paper filters are also from felled trees, which isn't so great for the environment that we keep cutting down trees for this if we can have a reusable filter so cheaply and easily. I'm happy about the purchase. I think it was worth it. It's easy to use and clean, and I don't expect to need to replace it. I still have the old paper filters on hand in case something goes wrong, but I doubt that I will ever need them. Dare I say--- it MIGHT be BIFL?

Works Great in our Bunn Coffee Maker

This works great with our Bunn Speed Brew CSB3T coffee maker. The filters they recommend seem a little small and would tend to spill over a bit. This basket is a bit taller and holds the coffee in great. Gave it 4-Stars because, although subjective to others thoughts, the basket needs a handle for extracting the basket full of grounds and dumping. It's not terribly difficult, but I've had the baskets with handles in the past and it was much easier to extract to dump used grounds. It's not really a ding on the quality of the product, which is great, but if you can find a similarly built and sized basket with a handle, get it instead, it's much easier to extract. If there are no other options available, be confident buying this one... it works great and will save you money on paper filter purchases in the long run.
