This is the best most intense and caffeinated coffee I've ever had. It's unctuous aroma encapsulates you the moment you open the fort Knox like packaging. The k-cups are a mutant hybrid of hard plastic, and the coffee filter paper, which I like. I set my Keurig setting to strong, because like it says on the box, I have a "death wish". The Keurig groaned and hissed and after a moment, spewed forth this ebony ichor so strong and potent, it was as if it was being bled from the God of caffeine himself, the patron saint of distressed and tired parents. After the cavalcade of high octane, morning brew fury had subsided, I lightened the delivery of this nigh on lethal concoction with some cow juice and sugar cane blood. Upon the first delicate caress of this smooth brew upon my lips, I immediately felt it throw my system into overdrive like Usain bolt on speed. Before I could tell what was happening, the laundry was done, the dishes were done, the kid was ready for school, the wife got breakfast in bed, and the entire house was deep cleaned like u was preparing for morning inspection by the grouchiest gunny in the entire corps. By the time I glanced at the clock, I had realized exactly 90 seconds had elapsed in the blur of efficiency that had just gripped my household. This stuff is super juice. I'll never drink another coffee again. It has ruined other coffee for me. Quintuple lattes are child's play to me now. If your pregnant or nursing, don't drink this coffee, unless you wish to give birth to dash from the incredibles. As a matter of fact, if you even know a pregnant person you'll want to be cautious, as your jet fuel-like breath may cause unwarranted osmosis effects. Tomorrow I'm going to try a Death Wish K-Kup for my first cup of the day. Today I had one after two cups of a regular brewed dark roast coffee but couldn't really tell you that I noticed a difference. I do appreciate the fact that it was smooth and flavorful, not bitter and biting. However I didn't notice the jolt that other coffee drinkers have alluded to. The only event that I can compare it to is when I had a double expresso in Italy before the start of a long train ride. Now that was a jolt! Much stronger and more noticeable than this.We'll see what tomorrow morning brings. If there is a marked difference I'll update this review. If not I'll be ordering a pack of their ground coffee for a regular brewing. That should make a big difference.

My husband is a drill sgt and usually drinks a cup of coffee a day so caffeine is nothing new to him but isn't so new that you would think this coffee would pack a huge punch. The first day my husband had this coffee he was on battalion Staff Duty, basically a 24 hour shift where sleep is not an option. One cup of this coffee kept him awake from 0400 that morning to 0500 the next morning (i have the text messages of spasticness to prove this claim). Besides being able to see words, run a 5 minute mile to the company and back to staff duty, chew out privates at lightening speed that they couldn't figure out whether to be in the front lean and rest, parade rest or if they could simply say yes drill sgt when he took a short breath. This coffee was euphoric to him that he was also unspeakably happy, a smile and all was on his face the whole day when he finally sat down. Now when he came home at 0830 he had yet another cup of this coffee in his Death Wish Coffee mug I had ordered for him. Welp, thanks to Death Wish Coffee I believe sex has reached a new high, it was like being screwed by the Gods and the energizer bunny, you would have thought it wasn't going to stop, but eh, I didn't want it to anyway. Needless to say we will be buying more, we love this coffee so much we gave some to the neighbor who is usually a grouchy old man but is now sh*ting rainbows and glitter and will be buying his own.Point is, it is a good cup of coffee, and if you do not have a high tolerance to caffeine then this will definitely make you feel like you are on speed and give you a great high. You will also use the toilet quite a bit too if you are the type of person that coffee runs right through. For me personally, it gave me a small buzz but I usually have 2-3 cups of coffee a day so do not take my experience to speak for its strength. It does have a wonderful flavor and is not bitter at all as some would think with a strong cup of coffee.
