I LOVE the scent of this, though it doesn't stay in hair unless use as leave in (not washing all out).Way I use it: I let the water hit the bar while it's held in my hair (I don't condition my part/top of hair, I leave this right at the edge to run down the length). Once it's moist and more softened; I wrap it gently in layers of my hair and gently move it around. I let some of it get on my hair, and gently spread it outside of the water flow. Then repeat once or twice. Usually letting it sit while I wash my body.My hair feels pretty soft after/typical as with my other conditioner I like (though this scent is preferred, the other is typical cream so if in a mood or rush I use that for efficiency).

I really love the scent of this conditioner bar and the fact that it is so packable for travel. It is a really innovative design. The little 2.3oz bar is easy to handle in the shower. Alas, I am not impressed with the conditioning aspect as I prefer a more moisturizing conditioning product that clings to my long hair. The scent is wonderful and very pleasant but I find the bar has a more oily residue than a conditioning property to it. It just isn't enough for my hair. I'm sure this would work well for others with undamaged hair form heat styling but it isn't for me. I recommend it to anyone that likes to travel light and has healthy hair. It works as intended and has a great scent.

For reference, I have long 2C/3A hair that requires lots of moisturizing to stay healthy and frizz-free. This is my first time trying a conditioning bar. The scent of this conditioner is incredible -- bright, fresh, citrus heaven! I apply it down the lengths of my wet hair before I detangle. The conditioner catches better in the nooks of my tangled hair. If it's already brushed, the conditioner doesn't adhere well and more so glides over my hair than distributes through it. The conditioner rinses out easily and leaves my hair fairly healthy-looking, albeit not as moisturized as I prefer. It's easy for me to follow up with hair oil for my ends, however. I think for someone who doesn't really struggle with frizz and dryness, this would be a delightful lightweight conditioning bar. I also wish the fragrance stayed in my hair once I am done showering. I recently tested another leave-in product that has given my hair an unpleasant smoky smell. I was hoping this citrus scent would mask it, but sadly I emerge from the shower and smell all smoke, no oranges.I love the idea of bringing these along when traveling. It is also much less bulky in my small shower with limited storage versus using the large, industrial-sized conditioner bottles that I am used to purchasing.

Super easy to use conditioner bar. Smells really good, a nice citrusy scent but you only smell it if you take a whiff of the actual bar, otherwise it isn’t too noticeable and it does not transfer to your hair. There is no lather of any kind, I find it best to wet your hair and then run the conditioner bar from mid shaft to ends as if you were brushing your hair with it. Add more water if needed. You shouldn’t rub it around haphazardly because wet hair is vulnerable and more prone to breakage if treated roughly. Leave it sit for a minute, at first it doesn’t seem like its doing anything but it is. Hair relaxes and smooths out. My hair likes this conditioner bar and it feels lightweight and silky soft. No itching or irritation either.

Until now I've just been using shampoo bars and following with whatever conditioner I have on hand at the time. I think it was mainly because well conditioners are liquid form and I wasn't sure how a conditioning bar would work distributing it through your hair. I had it in my head it would be more hassle trying to use it.Took a chance and expanding my horizons for trying something new I ended up picking up the Honeybee Gardens Sunny Citrus Conditioner Bar after grabbing the same scented shampoo bar. I'm seriously loving the scent their company puts into them. It's fresh and real and so good.Soooo after using the shampoo bar I reached for the conditioning bar and looked at it in my hand. I was debating I guess how to go about acutally using it. I mean conditioner doesn't really lather right? Started working it in my hand first after wetting it and it "sorta" was transfering to my hands. Decided what the heck and instead rubbed it all over my hair. Really distributed or started coating my hair which I wasn't expecting. I then used my fingers and hands to work it through my hair completely and to the ends and by golly it did feel like I'd put regular conditioner on my hair. It's just different and strange maybe to me having it in bar form, something to get used to I guess. My hair felt great, nice and soft and manageable after rinsing it out. In fact it does rinse out as easily and as well as the liquid conditioners I normally use.
