Super thick. Kills my fingers. Does the Job Well.

I bought Tom's after Consumer Reports revealed that most flosses -- except Tom's and a couple of others than I can't find -- have PFAS. Tom's was bought out by Colgate-Palmolive in 2006, so not as trustworthy, but so far so good. This floss is very thick and does a great job flossing. But because it is so thick, it is harder to use and strangles my fingers. Ouch, but I'm buying again. I bought a 6 pack and gave some away to my friends.

Old school wax… no Teflon (PFAS) coating!

Given that Teflon is a source of micro plastics and that is what is used to make modern floss silky smooth, I’m happy to go back to the less smooth wax coated floss.

Super Strong Floss

It only took me 76 years, but I think I have finally found for me, the worlds best floss. I have had many years to try and test just about every brand and material of floss out there. Unti recently I had never heard of Tom's of Maine dental floss. After reading it was made from nylon, I had to give it a try. Compared to other flosses I have used, this brand seems unbreakable and is very shred resistant (but not shred proof).

This Is very thick floss

I love everything Toms makes. And I thought it would love this too and that I have finally found a solution to a good wholesome dental floss with no chemicals in it. But when you slip this through some of your teeth that might have tight contacts you might change your mind, I did. The floss was almost pulling off my crowns and some of the time the floss wouldn't even come out of my teeth. I had to just let go of one and then slide it through that way.
