Non-irritating, mildly effective

This has the usual good news bad news combo for natural deodorants made for people with sensitive skin: it doesn’t cause irritation, which is great! It’s also not very effective. If you’re the type of person that doesn’t really get stinky anyway, go for it. But if you work up a sweat and smell like it, well… This isn’t going to help much.

effective liquid roll on deodorant, mag chloride w/ essential oils. No baking soda- yay!

My body loves magnesium based deodorants. It is usually what is used instead of baking soda based deodorants as it is more gentle on sensitive skin (but wildly more effective IMO). Baking soda irritates me, so I always go for the magnesium based offerings. This is a deodorant, not an antiperspirant. I make a point to say this as it seems to come up with products like this. Mind you, unless you see aluminum in the ingredients, these types of deodorants will never be an antiperspirant as that is the only ingredient that effectively blocks sweat glands. Not everyone wants or needs to block their sweat glands or want to use aluminum, so they use non aluminum based deodorants. Now these deodorants usually contain some sweat absorbers, but not in a liquid formula as this- for that you may want to try a solid or a paste.I have different deodorants for different scenarios (even an aluminum based one just in case, but it is a very rare thing for me). I love this one for basic day to day deodorizing and odor neutralizing effectiveness. I normally dont go for wet roll ons, but I wanted to try this anyway. It's good!Magnesium chloride on its own is an amazing deodorant (also often mixed with water to create "magnesium oil" for help with relaxation, pain, boosting the mineral transdermally, and as a basic DIY deodorant). When it comes to commercially prepared magnesium based deodorants, it is usually Magnesium Hydroxide being used in solid deodorants (grab some Milk of Magnesia if you ever are in a pinch for a simple deodorant). SO this is made with the former, and just be mindful that if you feel a tiny bit of tingling for a few seconds after application (especially after shaving) that is normal. It is not long term, and it wont necessarily happen every time. Magnesium chloride can just tingle on fresh shaved skin for a few moments. This formula also has an assortment of essential oils added in for scent and for whatever else some essential oils do- antibacterial, etc. This is a roll on liquid deodorant, so it goes on.. wet. Then it dries. No issues. I can go morning until night without any body odor coming through. I have rubbed my pits at night with my fingers to try to detect body odor. Nothing. This isn't my normal behavior, but I did it to test this product. Your experience, your body chemistry may vary. I am not a huge stinker on even the most gross of days.I like the scent, a lot. Here too, you may or may not like it. I dont notice it much after it has been applied. It is just in the initial application. I find that to be true of most deodorants of this ilk. What I learned about the roll on is that it is so easy to use and quick to use. Some of the solids can be extra hard in the winter, so it takes a moment pressed against the skin to warm up enough to glide. I dont mind, it isnt a hardship, but using this roll on has been extra nice lately. It dries quickly on me but it is cold and wintry with cool house temp, not sure how it will be come hot weather. But like I said I have a few different types of deodorant to suit all my needs. I would consider this again.Magnesium Chloride, Witch Hazel, Organic Aloe Vera Oil, Organic Argan Oil, Geranium Essential Oil, Clary Sage Essential Oil, Bergamot Essential Oil, Lavender Essential Oil, Cypress Essential Oil, Grapefruit Essential Oil, Sea Salt.

Strong citrus pine scent

Well, it's better than other natural deodorant I've tried but it still isn't great. It smells like pine and citrus. You may or may not like the scent. The scent is pretty strong. It doesn't mark my clothes if I wait for it to dry before letting it touch them. It doesn't work as antiperspirant, it is just deodorant. It does seem to last all day, so at least there's that.
