Purchased this for the design but the pump doesn't screw onto the glass compartment very well resulting in the pump looking like it's tilted. Still think it looks nice on the kitchen counter but not well made in terms of quality.

I use this dispenser for dish detergent in my kitchen. The finish came off of the last pump I had, and then the pump broke. This finish on this dispenser is holding up very well, and it looks clean and crisp. The pump works smoothly and seems sturdy. I love that the glass portion of the dispenser is dish washable, so that I can keep it clean.

We've had a hard time finding a decent looking soap dispenser duo for our kitchen sink. We've attempted to use nice-looking ceramic dispensers that were pretty crummy in the "function" department, and we've tried out some great soap pumps that stick out like a sore thumb in our "beige and dark brown" kitchen scheme (silvers and chromes seem like no-go's). This nifty, large dish soap dispenser from Common Goods is right up our alley.It is visually unobtrusive in the looks department, and boasts a nice shape topped with a smooth matte black finish. The text along the bottle is nice, but hardly noticeable (especially if you turn the bottle around), and the glass itself seems durable and lightweight. The pump is smaller, yet doles out the perfect amount of soap onto our Scrub Daddies. 10/10 dispenser—has everything one might be looking for, and a bit of extra clean style to boot.

I am using this bottle in my kitchen. It sees a lot of use every single day and still looks brand new. I am enjoying a clear dish soap bottle since I never run out in the middle of washing. It does have dish soap written in black lettering, but it is small and really disappears when the bottle has soap. The pump is metal and works very smoothly dispensing a steady, useful amount of soap. It is easy to clean and I have not had an issue with water spots on the pump.

So I ordered this soap dispenser pump, not for the pump, but for the bottle. I've been looking everywhere for a glass -- preferably borosilicate glass -- bottle with a small, 1" screw-top mouth. I have not been able to find anything smaller than 1.5" for water bottles. Little condiment bottles were .75", which was too small. This fit the bill! It's a tiny bit smaller than I need, but still fits the screw-top I wanted it for.What is this unusual purpose, you may ask? Well -- I have a pet water dispenser which is like a giant version of the kind of water bottle you hook up to a rodent cage, on a stand for cats and dogs. The bottle that came with it is unspecified plastic, though all other parts that come in contact with the water are silicone or stainless steel. I wanted a lightweight glass bottle with enough volume to be worthwhile setting it up, and with a mouth that fit the bottle opening.So here we are. Now my cats can drink "dish soap" and enjoy clean water without leached chemicals. As for what it is, it seems very high quality, but also a touch on the high end, price-wise. It would make a great housewarming gift, as the packaging was beautiful. But as for me and my house, I now have an imitation dripping faucet that says "dish soap" upside down.
