Oxyfresh Dog Dental Toy - Durable Rubber Chew for Teeth Cleaning & Fresh Breath - 5in

Ordered small for my 8lb pup, it's a tad big for him and it as a little weight to it. Doesn't appear to be that cheap flimsy rubber.. my dog got ba few chew sessions in but lost interest after novelty wore off. He didn't damage it. We don't have the best luck with rubber toys so expectations were low. I could put a treat or a dab of pb to interest him. Pricing is12.99 at time of review- I think most dog toys are overpriced but this seems to be in line with comparable toys.

My 6mo GSD mix loves this chew. I was afraid it would be too big but she uses it just fine. She hasn't managed to tear it apart despite its soft rubbery texture (I thought for sure she would make quick work of it). That being said, this is a good quality dental chew toy and I reccomend.

My two pitts enjoy the oxyfresh dog dental toy. I do think this toy has improved their dental health. I say this because I think there is a slight improvement in the appearance of their teeth. One of my boys in particular seems to love chewing on this - I assume he likes the texture of the very thick rubber. So far it's been a couple of weeks and the toy is still going strong. A miracle in our house since my boys are so destructive. I took off one star because it's not the most engaging toy out there. Both boys get tired of it after a few minutes. No biggie, they have other toys of course and as it always is in our house, the minute one of them has it, the other wants it which makes it very popular.

This is a good quality toy, but unfortunately because of its shape, my dog tries to use it mostly for play - she thinks it's a ball and she wants me to throw it for her. When she did chew on it, it worked well - she was using her back molars and really going to town. I just wish it was maybe a little larger or maybe more elongated so she didn't want to play with it so much.
