The cutip type ear cleaners were a concern for me. I was afraid I would shove it in too deep in my dogs ears. He didn't like them. My vet doesn't recommend using them either. For that reason, too. So, I use the cleaning solution with a piece of cotton ball on my finger. That works better and my finger won't fit that far down to be of concern.

Just received my first box & used them with the Veterinary Formula Clinical Care Ear Therapy to clean our Havenses' ears. Her ears get itchy & smelly so fast. She loves having her ears cleaned & she was in 7th heaven with these. I would use a cotton round, but I like the swabs better for efficiency and makes the whole process faster. I highly recommend. These swabs are top notch quality, made for safety are sturdy & soft. Definitely will reorder. As they say: just buy them!

The formula is nice and it cleans just fine. If you can get your dog to allow you to put the big q-tip-like thing in its ear, then you will be good to go. My doodle isn’t having it though (not yet at least, he is young).
