I've tried several and Burt's Bees seem to work best for my 2 chihuahua. I bought the calming shampoo as the older one doesn't like a bath and is afraid of her shadow. She's much better now and I get compliments on their coat since I started using it. They smell so good after a bath. The younger one had a lot of flakiness with the previous oatmeal shampoo I bought specifically for that purpose. While she still has a little seasonally, this seems to be much better for her skin. I highly recommend.

My mom's schnauzer has super dry sensitive skin and because he doesn't shed he can get filthy fast. Poor thing will wiggle all around the carpet on his back and constantly scratch and chew til he bleeds from dry itchy skin so we try not to bathe him too often or go too infrequent. I put him through two rounds of washing with this stuff because SO much more dirt came off him than normal and he looked so fluffy after! He definitely didn't have the same amount of flakes he always has after baths. I also used the calming spray to make sure his skin didn't dry outin between bath weeks. I'd say it took about a month but he is definitely not suffering like before! There's not much of a scent but not a bad thing for a sensitive skin dog. Before and after photos to show fluffiness and because lets face it: he's adorable.

I felt good washing my beautiful service Beagle with this shampoo. 99% of dogs will wiggle and not be still during washing, so the concern of any unpleasant or unhealthy ingredients getting near eyes and ears is always a concern. It didn't happen , because the shampoo is not full of suds because it does not have the chemicals that create massive suds, that's a good thing. She's already soft but my son commented she feels like velvet. The scent is calming. The shampoo is thick so it doesn't drip which is a good thing also ! The container size is large. I think with a 30 lb dog I will get around 7 or 8 washes maybe more up to 10 depending. Look at the price, can't beat the quality with that price. My dog gets a shower. I have a walk -in so it's necessary for me to have a shampoo that doesn't take forever to rinse out, the rinsing was quick and easy. The shampoo is not drying to the fur of skin. I am very happy with this Butts Bees Calming Shampoo, order, it's good. I'm going to reorder different scents and put it on subscription .
