Useful and long lasting

This scent is new to me but was part of a DIY skin balm recipe. It has a very strong earthy, sharp scent so I only used a few drops but I like how it blends with the other ingredients.

Not bad for perfuming

I bought it for natural perfuming. It is somewhat pine smelling, minty, and creosote, aka. railroad ties, but on dry down it becomes less of those, more like myrrh, which is leathery smelling, but still kind of weedy, like bitterweed, or that high pitch weed smell you get around rail roads and abandoned places. It's hard to like, but also hard to not like. I think most people will buy it for skin care, I have psoriasis and put some on an open skin wound to see what it would do. Oddly enough it created a covering, quickly, like the skin had healed. It was over a period to two hours that it had made a cover of soft less-irritated skin. It did burn, of course, when I put it straight on there. A day now and it is still soft there. I actually think it helped. But what has been curing my psoriasis is a mix of ginger and turmeric, I take a teaspoon of each of the spice with water. It does burn going down, tastes awful, which is why I only do it once in a while. It healed my ankles and knees and elbows. My knuckles on my fingers are all that is left of my psoriasis. I think Palo Santo is probably best used as incense in its wood form. Have a great day.
