However, it has a high potential for allergies and immunotoxicity, with concerns about its irritant effects. While it is not classified as a carcinogen or reproductive toxin, its environmental impact requires caution due to potential pollution risks. However, it may pose risks due to its high allergenic potential and enhanced skin absorption, which could lead to irritation in sensitive individuals. Regulatory bodies have noted its restricted use in certain formulations. Overall, its risk level is assessed as high, particularly for those with allergies. Safe usage practices should be followed, and alternatives like citral-free essential oils could be considered.

Ehhhh - it's ok

We've used another more well known brand - their "disgestive" blend is the best. Well, we were in a pinch and needed it, but couldn't get it from our regular gal, so we ordered this one. It's .... okay. Actually burns a little, I've tried using less, and not using it above the belly button (more sensitive skin, I think) and it still burned a bit. As for the easing tummy issues, it definitely doesn't do as good a job as the other, but we'll hang on to it for a backup.

Don't be a bonehead like me

Update 12/4/18: Don't be a bonehead like me and not read up on essential oils to know not to apply this directly on the skin without diluting it! After days of an agonizing itchy rash that Benadryl spray and pills would not touch along with a visit to urgent care, I finally looked up the product and read that it needs to be diluted 3-5%. I guess now my only complaint is that the bottle, along with the bubble wrap, should have a slip of paper included with the warning for silly people like me.10/2018: I didn't expect this to do much but to my surprise it works! Several times I've been preparing for bed, miserable and wondering how I'm going to sleep when my stomach is so distended and hurting. This is after taking gas pills and finding no relief. I rub the blend on my belly and am pleased to realize 15-20 minutes later that I'm no longer having issues. The scent is slightly strong but for someone who suffers from migraines, it doesn't bother me.
