I love that on the side without the beads that it has a soft kinda plush feeling for the eyes and can be used as an eye mask even when its not cold. I would not recommend leaving it in the freezer for long long periods of time because then it will be hard to put on or fit properly. I left mine in the freezer for 1hour/1hour and 1/2 and then was able to put on my head and soothe the tension from the headache. Its also just nice to have as relaxation for your face too.

I love it. it doesn't freeze or get to hot. Its comfortable, and cute! however, the band is relatively small.. I put it as big as i could go and then it get stuck in my hair. I wish the elastic band was bigger and had more room to adjust. other then that i love it and its helped me sleep alot better.

I would have given this mask a 5-star rating, because the first night I tried it, it was wonderful. I heated it in the microwave for about 30 seconds, and literally fell asleep with it on. However, it had cooled down a bit too quickly so I wanted to try it a little warmer. So, on the following evening I set the microwave for 1 minute, figuring if it was too hot, I would just let it cool down for a bit. Somewhere around 40 seconds, I heard a "BOOM" and ran to investigate, and to my surprise, the package containing the beads had exploded. The beads themselves had not exploded, nor the inner plastic between the beads and the soft mask, just the outer plastic. Now, mind you, this is really my fault - the instructions on the package say to heat it in the microwave for 10-15 secs, testing it on your wrist before applying it to your eyes - but I was pretty surprised that the plastic burst open, not to mention that 10-15 secs was just not really going to warm it enough.I am re-ordering a new one, because I really did like it, but I think that I will heat it using a much lower power setting on really short bursts. You need to be careful not to overheat it.

As I age, I notice my face looking more and more as if it was in a fight when I wake up in the mornings. My eyes get super puffy. In trying to preserve what youth I have left, I bought this eye mask.The band that wraps around your head is thick and well made. There's adjustable Velcro in the back to adjust to where you need it. The mask is soft on one side and see through plastic on the other so you can see the cute little beads as you squish them around. I usually freeze mine and use it to cool my eyes in the morning. Helps me wake up and helps reduce puffiness. I have also been known to turn this around and use it on the base of my neck for bad migraines. The cold lasts for about 15-20 mins (as recommended by professionals) so no damage can be done to your tissues. When heating it, the warmth lasts longer because it's up against your body, which is also warm. (Pretty sure you could have figured that out, but I just wanted to be thorough).At night it helps me keep my eyes closed. I have insomnia, so if I can physically keep my eyes closed while doing a breathing meditation, this helps me sleep well. It doesn't make things super dark, but more natural like the color the back of your eyelids look when you close them. That doesn't bother me at all because I've slept wonderfully.

I LOVED this mask! Please note that I did not use it as a "sleeping" mask. I used it as a hot and cold mask.You can warm it up in the microwave to help relax your eye muscles. It feels soothing after a long day from being on the computer. Be careful! The beads get super hot after microwaving. If they don't feel hot to you, squish the mask around. It'll help warm up the beads. It really does feel like a spa treatment when it's warmed up.I loved that you can chill it in the freezer to help depuff your eyes in the morning. The chilled eye mask helped relieve some sinus pain from my allergies as well. I like using it chilled before I started my daily routine.The only thing I was very confused about was which side touched directly on my eyes. I assumed it was the plastic side with the beads because the fuzzy side would get dirty very quickly. Not to mention that the mask didn't feel as hot or cold from the fuzzy side. I wish the instructions were a bit more clear. But overall, I loved the mask. I would recommend it for anyone who works long hours staring at their phone or computer.Overall, I'm super happy with the product. Been using it all week and will probably keep using it as part of my routine!
