Many colors and lots of pigment

I got this eyeshadow palette in the wine tone colors. It comes in a case with a cool picture on the front. Overall it's a good set with a few caveats.The good: Lots of colors (18); mix of matte and shimmery shades; 4 of the most neutral shades are in a larger size; these are very heavily pigmented; Can definitely get a great smoky or neutral look.The not as good: Mainly the fact that these are very powdery and have a LOT of falldown. I'm still experimenting with which makeup brushes will work the best with this as well as using some of these with a damp brush too. The colors have a lot of loose powder - in my closeup picture you can see one of the colors after I just gently pressed my brush in it. After picking up some shadow and tapping the excess off the brush, a lot of shadow ended up in the sink. However, I still got good color on my eyes with what was left. Obviously a little bit goes a long way with these shadows.I think a 20-something (give or take) or someone with more of a makeup artistry background would really get the best use out of this palette. For the money, it was definitely worth it, though, even if I might need to work a little harder and finesse my methods a bit more to take full advantage of this palette.

good assortment of matte vs shimmer

Eyeshadow Palette Natural Naked Smokey NeutralThis eyeshadow palette contains a great balance of shades. I love that there is a row of neutrals at the top in large pans and the shade DIAMOND PINK is just amazing. It can change the look of any of the matte shades when applied on top. It makes them look extra special and gives a shimmer to any of those shades. The colors are super soft and blend easily. There is some fallout with the darker shades but those can also be used damp to contain that. The shade MIDNIGHT STARRY is perfect as a liner or to get a deep smokey eye.
