I don’t know how to feel about this yet. All I can say is… this is not an everyday type of product because it exfoliates the skin causing it to peel and stuff. With that, have to be careful to not clog your pores and break you out. Other wise it tones the face. It seems like it takes time but it does a little toning Im not sure if it removes dark marks yet because I try not to use it everyday because during exfoliating period, it stings and leave the face very sensitive like raw. But when I do use this, it’s like 2x in a week. Then I’ll stop for like 1- 2 weeks when I see my dead skin peeling. Then start again when it stops peeling. I apply with a qtip like spot treatment. And I heavily moisture with shea butter because of the dryness on my face. And normally I have oily skin but for this product you have to moisturize heavily to not cause a burn like the others are saying they’ve experienced. And don’t forget please SUNSCREEN!

When first applying this product and before reading the bottle, I thought this product was doing the complete opposite of what it was supposed to do.. my face got darker, started peeling, skins texture changed, irritation, and almost seemed to be scaring.. but with every wash & with a little cocoa butter it began to lighten each time. It really works! I have used this several times over the years. I’m on my fourth bottle. It does what it says it does. Make sure that you’re wearing at least SPF 50 when you’re outdoors. This product is great for exfoliating the skin over time, revealing a much smoother texture, and more brightness to your skin. But your skin is going to be more susceptible to sunburn and some damage if you don’t protect it with a minimum SPF 50. This serum is not a moisturizer. It’s a serum which works deeper into the skin. After it’s applied, let it soak in and then apply moisturizer then the SPF 50.
