I’m a no-fuss skin routine kind of gal, and this serum fits that bill. Low to no scent for me, leaves my skin feeling hydrated and smooth. I like how well it absorbs, and my skin glows. I like the applicator/dropper too. I’ve used one other Eight Saints product and now want to try more. Two down and more to go, because they are that good! The packaging is great too. I use other eight saints products and have love most of them. I tried the retinol serum to see if it would improve the texture of my skin as it has declined with age. The product is light and has a pleasant fragrance. It is easy to spread and absorbs quickly. I use it nightly and it doesn't dry out the skin. I started to see an improvement in my skin on day 4. I followed the retinol serum with the up the anti night cream. The skin on my neck and chest also showed improvement. I highly recommend this product along with most of their other products.

I am 59 years old and have age related loss of elasticity in my skin along with wrinkles, sun spots and overall courser skin texture than I had when I was younger. I didn't take care of my skin like I should have for many years, but I've doing what I can to make improvements since I turned 50. I have tried many products at all price points with little to no improvement.I have to start by saying, I love all of the Eight Saints products I've used over the last few years. Their products are made from natural, organic and non-toxic ingredients that I feel great about putting on my face daily. I have been using the Seeking C serum daily for a couple of years now and I love it! I have sensitive skin and have had redness and flakiness from other Retinol brands, so I was unsure about the Eight Saints Retinol products but gave them shot since I love the brand. I started out cautiously and have been using the Eight Saints Retinol serum and Retinol moisturizer 2 times a week and I have had ZERO itchiness, redness, flaking or peeling at all. In addition, I am already seeing firmer and smoother skin and plan to bump up my skin care routine to include the Eight Saints Retinol serum and Retinol moisturizer to using them every other day, and eventually using them daily.I highly recommend the Retinol serum and moisturizer as well as all of the Eight Saints products!

I was excited to try Eight Saints Smooth Sailing Retinol Serum after my success with other Eight Saints products that I've purchased. I can confidently say it’s the best retinol serum I’ve used.This serum has done wonders for my skin, noticeably reducing fine lines, wrinkles, and age spots. My skin tone has evened out, and my pores look smaller. Thanks to the hyaluronic acid, my skin stays hydrated and plump, even though I use the product 3-4 times a week before bed (after I have washed my face and let it thoroughly dry). The serum spreads evenly and glides on--it's not sticky. Unlike other serums that I have used in the past, Smooth Sailing Retinol Serum has not irritated my skin at all.I also love that it contains green tea, which helps calm any irritation or redness. It works well with all skin types, and I’ve personally had no dryness, a common issue with retinol. My skin has been clearer and smoother since I started using it, and I’m so glad I made this purchase.
