I am only giving 3 stars for now. I started using this product 3 days ago at night only. The first morning after my face felt great. Very moisturized and a little more glowy from the previous day. The second morning after, I had 5 new pimples around my nose. Small enough to cover with makeup thank goodness. The 3rd morning after my face was even more glowy and felt so smooth. No new pimples. This is a little greasy feeling but sinks into skin within 5 minutes. I am hoping to get no new breakouts as my skin is usually pretty clear. But I've heard its popping up what was already there underneath, hiding, waiting to come out. I will do another review once I finish this product as it's only been 3 days.

Been using it for years as suggested on the product, I apply it at night after their BHA and follow with their moisturizer.This routine leaves my middle-age skin comfortable and smooth in the morning. When I fail to use it my face & neck feels more dry, less comfortable.They claim it reduces/prevents age damage...I have no idea if that is true. I'm the wrong client to adk, because I don’t track the changes on my skin over time very carefully. I don't have severe wrinkling or dryness, because my skin was oily and acne-prone in my youth.For me, using Paula's Choice products is about the feel of my skin for the price, not the appearance of my skin. Paula's choice contains more high-quality ingredients and less perfume per dollar than comparable high-quality products, and leaves my skin feeling as good or better than more heavily marketed or perfumey brands.To compare what my skin would look like without Paula's Choice, I look at pictures on my mom at my age. No difference! Her skin looked great, and still looks great for 94, LOL! She didn’t have the benefit of this stuff, but told me, and I listened, to always wear a hat when outdoors, and never sunbathe, but instead to be active outdoors while protecting your skin from direct sunlight.My mom now uses this, too, and she agrees, skin products of today that utilize vitamin C, retinols, BHA, etc., do leave your skin feeling better with consistent use than the ones she used back when. And that's worth paying a bit more for.On the other hand, I'm often told I’ve got nice skin, I’m sure this isn’t hurting.

This stuff does NOT do nothing. I should really update this review after 2 weeks and I will but for now, I will say proceed with caution if you have sensitive skin...it didn't break me out (it actually cleared me up) but it is definitely very drying at first and also caused a little but of inflammation on my face (just a general mild inflammation only noticeable to me, it cleared my zits away though). I would say if you have sensitive skin, try using it every 3rd day at first so your skin can adjust because it is very strong, definitely geared towards mature skin. For reference I am 35 and I have sensitive acne prone skin.
