It works but its certainly not perfect

I would honestly say for the money im disappointed in the quality the teeth of the comb are not straight the fit and finish could use some love too as there are gaps where the comb part and the backing are made out of two different peices and seemingly two different types of wood and glued together the inside of the handle is unfinished and still has clumps of sawdust up in there Where they carved it out but it smells nice after you use it a few times and it is functional

Great choice for a wooden beard comb!

This is a very high quality comb. The leather case is nice too! I'm new to beard combs and I'm not sure how long my wife will tolerate me growing it out, but this comb not only exudes high quality and feels good in the hand, it works really well for coming your beard too! I highly recommend this and don't anticipate any problems with this in the long run. This is craftsmanship personified! Well done Striking Viking!

Could be great, but...

The product is actually nice, the comb unfolds and is a little stiff even when loosened with screw. bBut that is okay I feel it will loosen up over time.But the comb came with a small crack as seen in the pictures at the base in between the teeth. Now I didn’t think this would be too big of an issue but it makes the comb unusable. Hair gets caught in that crack, gets struck, and pulls. There is also a small crack along the spine, which looking at it I don’t think it would cause any issues besides possibly snagging a thread in your pocket.The comb also had a scent I wound say imbedded into the wood. Oil saturated my guess. It is a pleasant smell but it is noticeable.Lastly it is a little thicker than I thought it would be. Not a big deal just wasn’t expecting it to be as thick as it is. You can see from the pictures, measured out it’s .5” thick.I am reaching out to company to see what they say about come and crack. And pending the result I will update this review accordingly.UPDATECompany reached out and replaced the comb immediately. Great customer service, new come works great. Again the only issue I’ve found is the hinge screw likes to come loose. A drop of locktite and it’s good.
