Whether it’s whole bean coffee or ground coffee, this bag works really well. Anytime I get bulk coffee in a bag. The coffee seems to go still rather quickly, this bag has definitely slowed down that process. I also have not noticed any added, smells or tastes so from day one or day 365 your coffee still taste fresh. I love that it is reusable so that it is producing less trash in the long run.This is a great item to have for a coffee bar or if you love coffee or even looseleaf tea. I received the roll-top style (large) bag, which I would guess, is suitable for coffee. I wouldn't necessarily call it large or use it for coffee, but here we are. The bag is well made, constructed of a waterproof core with a cotton shell. Once rolled, it becomes air-tight, which is an excellent feature.As for size, it would indeed hold a small bag of coffee. I store my coffee in a much larger container, so I use this for sandwiches I take to work, and it works well for that purpose, albeit not the size for such a thing. When I come home, I turn it inside out and wash it with mild soap and water (or simply rinse if all that are left are a few crumbs). It dries quickly and stores away easily for next time.Overall, this is a great piece, but one bag is $30. I'd replace all my Ziplocs with these if I could afford it. Not blessed with Kardashian money, I'll have to make do with just one. I anticipate it'll last me a long time, but the price is too steep for me to replace it when it no longer serves.

The exterior texture is like a very slightly waxy cloth and the interior feels like thin silicone. I like that the bottom is rectangular and, depending on the weight distribution of the contents, can stand upright. The bendy clip is a singular piece that's removable and easily re-inserted. The bag, while called "large", is only about 8in tall and 6in wide when upright. So while it's relatively nice as a reusable bag and seems like it will last a while, it is a little bit of an expensive investment upfront with being priced at ~$30 for getting only one bag at this size.
