I have been using this for years and it remains one of my absolute favorites! I am always trying new foundations but always come back to this one and keep it on hand. It is seriously underrated and deserves so much hype. The finish is natural and the coverage is medium to full. It’s a very high coverage foundation that doesn’t require powder. Not too cakey or unnatural looking but it is thicker like full coverage matte foundations tend to be. Glass bottle, made in Italy, $10. Can’t complain. You have to apply it with good technique and skin prep like you do with any full coverage foundation, if you want it to sit well and look flattering. My only complaint is the shade range and swatches. I had to order it 3 times bc the light shades run darker and warmer than the advertised. I ended up needing the lightest shade and it’s still a little yellow. I’m typically the second or 3rd to lightest shade. My advice is to order a lighter shade than you think you need. I wouldn’t recommend this for mature skin bc it’s thicker and full coverage which is rarely flattering on mature skin no matter the price range. This is good for someone who just wants full coverage that is sweat resistant and doesn’t require concealer or powder. Like if you live in a warm and humid climate.

This is one of my favorite foundation ever! I used to wear Anastasia foundation, but it's no longer within my budget so was looking for something to replace it, and found this. You get such a great quality product at an amazing price. I would say the coverage is medium to full, so if you are just looking to even out your skin tone, cover up a few small spots, or even a full on glam then this is the foundation for you. I have very pale skin and I have had a hard time finding a good foundation that didn't leave me looking orange and I finally found this one! It works really well with my skin tone and the color stays true and doesn't oxidize and get orangey like a lot of other foundations do. It applies smooth and the coverage lasts all day for me without having to reapply. I do recommend using a setting powder over top of the foundation if you like it a bit more matte because this foundation can tend to look a bit shiny if you have oily skin, if not.

Great medium coverage but not at all cakey or chalky. Doesn't settle into fine or deep lines to make them stand out more, nor does it make my pores look even more like the moon craters they already are! LOL! I don't like the way setting powder feels on my face but the foundation typically lasts well over eight hours without it - and my face tends to sweat a bit unless where I'm at is quite cold. My skin is quite fair with slight yellow-to-neutral undertones and no freckling; this shade was perfect (I also purchased a bottle one shade darker but probably won't use that for anything but subtle contouring on days I can't be bothered to fully contour).This blends well with my concealer (Josie Maran) and does NOT have a nasty perfumey scent, which is really important to me. Only slight visible yellowing from oxidation but it doesn't cling to peach fuzz to make it look like I have a beard! I don't feel like my face is being bathed in moisture while wearing this but at least I didn't feel like a greasebomb!My skin is fairly sensitive with a bit of redness around my nose and is prone to occasional breakouts; this foundation has, so far, not caused blemishes, hasn't made my skin itchy, and not only covers existing redness perfectly but has not brought on any more redness. Lastly, this foundation removes completely with a good two-step cleansing routine (I typically use DHC Deep Cleansing Oil and LaRoche-Posay Gentle Foaming Moisturising Wash - both well-kept secret favourites of aestheticians like me!) and plenty of rinsing with room-temp water.

Update: the color of the foundation has changed to more orange-y base tone, which wasn’t like that when I first opened the bottle. I use foundation every day so it’s not like it’s been sitting around for years. Just a month or two.I’ve noticed the mattifying properties don’t work as well as they did in the beginning as well.Part of why I loved it (other than what I listed) is that it says put. But I’ve come to find that that means even the slightest smidge will ruin the smoothness on your face. Goes on smooth but if it’s touched, it cakes and balls up.Might try a lighter color and see if that works better with the color changing oxidation but I’m still on the hunt for the perfect foundation.After 15 years searching for an inexpensive foundation that fit my shade, I believe I found it. I have fair, combination skin. I needed something that would mattify my oily spots without over drying my dry spots. I would always end up getting flaky skin spots surrounded by melted, oily, cakey foundation.This foundation not only is my perfect shade (08 fair beige) but it’s matte without being over drying. The coverage is buildable without being cakey. It’s light and liquidy going on and as you blend it in it turns into a creamy, matte finish.I pair it with Rimmel Stay Matte primer. Blend with a makeup sponge. That’s it!I don’t need powder to keep it on, it lasts all day. No patches, no caking, no melting!I seriously would stock up with this if makeup never expired.Things to note:It has a light, almost bakery fragrance. But my sensitive skin hasn’t had any reaction.The dropper style applicator is amazingggg. I don’t know how I’d ever go back to trying to shake out product from a bottle.It comes off easily with makeup removing facial wash.It is matte so you won’t get any dewy looks.So far, no issues and I love it!
